We are headed to Miami for the final NASCAR race in the sprint series November 14 thru November 18 and are looking for things to do. Since neither of us have ever been to Miami can anyone give us ideas. We would love to hook up with other couples if the opportunity presents itself.
Has nobody given you any advise yet?
We live in North Florida so any input from others closer to Dade county trump's this.
Weathers great mid 70's still. Escape the snow and come play at the beaches.
If you drive stop in Gainesville , we'll do lunch or more.
If I recall the race is held in Homestead Florida technically south of Miami and North of Key Largo the entrance to the 70 mile trek down the way to key west at the southernmost point in the country is here in the Florida Keys. Accommodations are generally easy to find even during race week. If you want to stay on South Beach then it might be closed out but for 150 miles north and 25 miles south , there's plenty of units and us 1, AiA, I-95& Florida turnpike are major highways make north south travel flow well with up to 8 lanes each way at times. Getting to Miami from Ft. Lauderdale is 40 minutes for an event held in Miami so check with Swingular travel , they can help.
Entertainment is as culturally diverse as the colors of the rainbow and the flavors of food available. Some of the Fresh seafood's , local fruits and produce are off the wall delicious and if you have the taste for it, Authentic Cuban fare is abundant in Miami and South.
Night life is also hit or miss with world class Night clubs, Hard Rock Casino's thru the World champion teams like Miami Heat basketball, Miami Dolphins , Marlins and most of the Sport's complexes including the College level but plenty of controversy (semi professional Football team) Miami Hurricanes as well as you know the focus of your trip , NASCAR Cup racing. Stay as long as you want, budget for toll's everywhere and playtime is your choice. It's called the Gold Coast for a reason.
There's no possible way to come and leave with anything left except memories, authentic hand rolled cigars , juiced on espresso and maybe some gas from the beans. We need someone from Utah to bring some stogies back to our sister in play utsweetie .
A few Adult places you'll want to hit are Trapeze Club (Membership well worth the value ) in Fort Lauderdale, Rooftop resort at Haullever Beach Try to fit in a visit to Miami Velvet and Plato's all in Miami.Best corporate class gentlemen's clubs might be the new "vivid live" , Hottest escort by far is Gianna Dalton,
That's my 5 cents worth. Have fun.!
