So we went to the Halloween Erotic Ball this last weekend thrown by Risqu
I wish we could have stayed for the after party but life does not always work out the way you wish it to. We found the party interesting but it did have some problems and the hosts were aware of them and did what they could to correct them. I know this because we spent a few minutes talking to the host at the party last night and they were not exactly happy with the club at that time.
I take it from what they said that when they went back to the hotel to get themselves ready the club simply quit prepping things. They had entertainers and other people not show up for work and the security staff was not in place until after it was time to start. Thus things did not open until 9:30 when they were planned for 9 sharp etc.
At first the sound system was loud enough to vibrate the walls and toilets and I do not consider them to be sex toys. Our host had to ask the club several times to have the music turned down to a livable level. If you left you could not get back in and I thought that was stupid. I could go on but what's the point. The venue wasn't bad it just wasn't great. The club simply did not carry it

I had a fantastic time!!! Both at the main event and the after party. I loved having room to dance and move around. Thanks Lang for another awesome party!

Well, I'm glad it wasn't just us who thought that party left something to be desired. I think it could have been better if it had not been SO DAMN LOUD! I know that makes me sound like an old person, but honestly I couldn't hear my own husband standing next to me yelling in my ear, let alone talk to friends and get to know some of the sexy people we saw. We kept going out in the lobby so we could stop shouting for a few minutes. I think the DJ was really into himself because there was no other reason to have the music and bass up so loud (and believe me, I LOOOVE me some good bass!). It just ruined the party for me.
It didn't help that drinks weren't included after paying that much to get in.
(I didn't have any problem getting out to put my coat in the car and then back in. Weird that others did!) and the entertainment was just so-so. Really, it was like a big vanilla club for me. Fine I guess, but not what I was hoping for.
Personally, I'm really looking forward to the Lifestyle Manor's party (Halloween Fantasy Ball) this Saturday. I've been to several of their parties and they never disappoint. Haven't done their Halloween yet, but it's bound to be great! And from what I can tell from the website, there will be some nice private spots to socialize and flirt and PLAY. And drinks included? Hell ya! Can't wait. Who else is going?!?

Damn. We must be on different wavelengths. I thought the price was down right cheap. Free dirnks? Not really. I like the mansion parties but the price is several times what this one cost you. We know this maybe better than most, yet we have thrown 100s of Events over the past 8 years and hope to do so for another 8 years.

Ross put together great parties. We have been in the lifestyle for quite a while now and have visited parties in NYC, Atlanta, Columbus, Chicago, LA, Denver and Miami. Despite the music being loud and vibrating the breastplate of my costume (Roman Gladiator), I thought it was cool. Lots of room to dance and socialize and plenty of nice people. I haven't been to a mansion party yet so I have nothing to compare it to though. The after party was awesome! Plenty of friendly people that greeted me. Thank you!
