HIV may either absorb through the mucus membrane or directly into the blood stream if an open access is available like a sore or abrasion. HIV is carried in the bodily fluids and this is why condoms are effective against it's transmission. Almost all other types of STD's and STI's are transmitted by skin to skin contact. Pubic bone to pubic bone, balls to butt crack and so forth. Condoms provide ZERO protection from this unless you have some kind of new ball sack covering, butt plugging, total pubic area covering condom.

Nothing is fool proof and this is a stupid argument that we have all had before. But don't fool yourself into believing that taking precautions is stupid either. They lesson the risk and proper cleanup after might even help. As far as testing goes it is hardly better than a condom. You can be infected and be a carrier and not have it show up in a test. Tests rely on the bodies antibodies and if you have not been infected for very long they won't show that you are infected. But none of this will change how anyone thinks so what is the use.
