H. You should have called me. If you need help I can see what I can do
I have never heard of a security system shutting down the fuel pump. Every one I've dealt with disabled the starter switch. In any case you will have to reset the security system at the vehicles computer (PLC). SOME and I repeat some vehicles this is as easy as disconnecting the negative battery terminal and let sit for a few minutes but most vehicle you have to reset it with a hand held programmer. The good news is the vehicle is old enough that most large chain auto parts stores can do this. If there is a bad relay this programmer should indicate this and relays are inexpensive. If you know a person who works at one of these parts stores and is willing to help you, give him or her a call and have them bring the programmer to your vehicle. I sure hope this helps I feel badly for you.
The negative disconnection worked like a charm! At least this time. Thanks GunnerSexykitten!
As soon as we can buy a remote starter, we'll install it and by pass that piece of shit GM passlock system!

Bad news there, the only way to rid yourself of the factory security system is send out the PCM and get it re-flashed where they remove the security from the programming, but most that offer this service only preform this on a race or perfomance tune for off road vehicles. There is another solution that works very well as most (98%)of the problems with this system are in the lock cylinder that occurs with normal wear. When you turn the key to the start position it sends a resistance value to the body control module which reads it and if it is in the proper range the body control module then sends a "password" to the PCM which enables fuel injector pulses. The fix is to remove the steering column cover and you should see three small wires together that run up to and in to the lock cylinder area, the wires are white, yellow and black. Cut the yellow and black wires then solder in a 2k ohm resistor between the yellow and black wires. Next step is to re-learn the resistors value in the BCM by attempting to start the vehicle and leaving the key in the "run" position for ten minutes, after the ten minutes have elapsed the security light should either be on steady or completely off, attempt to start again and if it fails to start you may have to repeat the ten minute re-learn procedure up to three times. This modification takes the most common problem out of the system and you should not have to worry about the security issues again. I have made this modification on several GM vehicles with great success.
