Okay, raise your hand if you have ever met someone off a LS site without seeing their pictures? Thought so!
Seriously, if you are going to take the time effort and so forth to post a profile on this site or any other site, why not post a picture or two or more! More being better, since you can get a better idea of what the others look like. We have always thought it was strange when others don't. If you can't post a picture than how the fuck are we to know whether or not we are attracted to you? This is for us at least somewhat based on a physical attraction, not that everyone we meet is Ken & Barbie. Granted most of us have lives and so forth where perhaps our families or co workers would not be to cool about knowing this part of our lives. But if they are on this site, we are going okay what the fuck are you doing here to see our pictures? Now we do (ourselves) keep our facial pictures in private that isn't being rude it's being discrete. Sending pictures via the net with your address ......LOL isn't very smart! Copy, paste and that picture you thought you were sending to whoever ends up all over the net! At least on sites such as this one and others there is a excepted amount of protection for the day to day computer user.
Anytime we have ever gotten an email from any site without a picture we go really, seriously you want to meet us, why should we? If your that nervous or what have you perhaps this isn't the best place to be or wait until you get over it and decide you want to meet others to well FUCK!

If your going to condemn people do it to the ones who post the same pic for ten years after having 3 kids two marriages and a disfiguring car accident. Can't even begin to tell you how many people showed up with a vague resemblance of who they were. Or they spent the time to get cleaned up and take nice photoshop photos then show up for dinner date with dirty clothes no bath and a smell that came through the door before they did. Now that was an adventure.
So maybe before you judge how people choose to protect their privacy and not post pictures why not take a closer look at the WORDS on a profile instead of the tits, what are they saying or not that throws up a red flag? When they respond are both or only one running the show? Is there an I or a we coming through? Does it seem only the female is being addressed? My guess is because of your post a few great couples who were looking at your profile with interest just lost it. But hey that works for us because they are still out there looking for fun, we love going on an adventures to meet new people sight unseen, you can still have a great time meeting people even if you don't hook up or FUCK.
One more thing. I'm one of those fakes and none of our photos are real or current. I came here to steal pictures to post on all kinds of sites and yours were added to my collection so thank you. Should have taken more time and conned you into adding me as friend and get more, O well my loss.

I think it is OK to rant a bit and post it here. We all have our sensitive spots and it is just part of being human. God knows I been told to lighten up more than once and they are often right that I go over the limit. Everyone has their do and don
We don't accept friend requests from folks without pics posted, but then we don't accept friend requests from folks we haven't actually met in person either.
We've had couple who want to get together with us but don't have posted pics for privacy reasons. They would simply send a few on request and all would be good. I'm certain that folks without pics will get far less interest shown in their profiles, but that's their choice. And if they put themselves out there and contact the couples they are interested in, then it's fine. That's their choice.
As for folks that aren't exactly following good "truth in advertising" practices, well, I suppose we all look at some of our older and better pictures and think we still look that good. If their self image is represented and it makes them feel good about themselves, so what. When you meet them you can be a little discerning about how far you want to take the relationship. Learn how to say "no" politely and move on.

This topic came up at the camp out we went to a few weeks ago. We are not that involved in this scene but have always had fun. It was amazing to see what people truly looked like compared to the pics and weight stats online. That being said, we don't friend people that have no pictures. Most everyone wants to be discreet, including us and we have turned down many friend requests from people that have attractive pics because they are too close to home. We both have professional jobs and live in a small community. However, since we rarely do anything with people in the lifestyle anyways, it is nice to have an idea of what you are getting into as far as physical attraction. If we are only going to see people two or three times a year, it seems like too much of gamble to take the chance on someone that doesn't even have pictures in their private folder. Our pictures are real. I might change the color tone or the background a bit because it makes the pictures seem more like art but that's it. That's why campouts are fun. We get to see people without the make up and club outfits and they get to see us in our natural state as well. The honest and secure people in this lifestyle are the fun ones. We made good friends at this last campout and gained some honest insight as well.
Who cares? Make a rule if you'd like...less than 3 pics and you'll not answer. Again, who cares? Do whatever it is that you want. Meet those that you want and don't meet the others. How many hundreds of profiles are there on this LS site alone? If someone doesn't want to post pics or if someone DOES want to post pics of the male in a tutu and ballerina shoes, why the hell should that bother me? At varying times I've posted lots of pics, no pics, pics of both of us, or only me or only hubby. We're both such trolls that someone here is surely gonna bitch no matter which approach I choose! Get over it! 
We have met with people that don't have profile pics, some have been less than desirable (oh the stories we could tell) while others were quite surprising. We had actually struggled with the idea of to post or not to post pictures. I can see how it can weed out the fakes and flakes to an extent, but in the long run....we realized without pictures we would be severely limited as to whom would send messages or even respond to ours. We have chosen to not post any "private" photos.

The way I see it. If my family happens to see my picture on her then they were obviously looking for the same thing I am. Lifestyle or not to meet for fun without seeing what they look like isn't for me. When it comes to Sex there has to be some sort of attraction. Other wise my little friend stays little.
