Thought it deserved it's own thread.
A new study published in the American Journal of Epidemiology finds an intriguing connection between marijuana use and body weight, showing that rates of obesity are lower by roughly a third in people who smoke pot at least three times a week, compared with those who don

Lower rates of obesity does not mean higher rates of being in shape. :-P
Seriously, I know some skinny people I can easily outrun and perform in most ways.
Uh...I was pretty much kidding people. I don't think firing up a fattie and listening to Pink Floyd is gonna replace the squat rack any time soon. Just thought the study was interesting because SO many people (well prolly not quite as many swingers) around these parts are so anti weed. All I know is that I've never been punched by somebody who was high on weed. Alcohol on the other hand...
Naw. But we do go to Gold's Bountiful. It's FULL of crazy sexy swingers so ya gotta bring yer "A" game and walk the walk. Otherwise you might as well just stay home and get high.

There was also a study that showed that shampooing your hair in the shower causes weight gain due to the fact that most shampoo's add Body.
Ok I'm sorry but we're gonna have to deduct like 50 points for THAT lame one. At least stick something dirty in the joke if yer gonna tell one that sorry. :-P
Well hell maybe I should double my efforts. Hit the gym in the morning and smoke weed all night. Works for me. As for the Mr. Unfortunately his work would frown upon usage. Or he would be on that diet to.
remember a wise man once said "There are lies, damn lies, and statics." You need to find the intent of the study to know why the results. We have know that THC is a chemical that is toxic to the human body and will, build up. while not carcinogenic, like tar and nicotine, it does affect the nervous system. That is why it help prolong life for people being treated for MS.

Hrm, I always found- I mean, uhm, heard- that weed facilitated weight gain, due to the documented scientific effect called "Dude, I am SO munchy right now!" This is often followed by the ingestion of anything from stacks of french toast, to oreos, to whatever else may be around.
Or so I've heard.
P.S. Don't knock the Floyd!![]()
I know it gives the munchies, but every person I've met that smokes it regularly has been quite the lerp for some reason. I'm assuming the fact that it messes with certain chemicals has something to do with it, but I've never looked that far into it.
