The old thread was getting pretty long so I decided to start another one. It's time to get the deposits in for the Lake Powell trip for June 27-30. I sent out a mass email earlier today with the information. If you didn't get it or where not on it and you are interested in going then please let us know. Here is the info on the boat if you need it again also.
TnT
We are trying for a 70' Millenium house boat (www.foreverhouseboats.com) with a hot tub and wet bar on the upper deck. right now we have one boat held with others available as needed.
There are four staterooms on the houseboat and we have to get them filled before we can give out the top deck prices unless there a bunch of top deck peeps to compensate for it and then maybe we can have an open stateroom for a party room. I hope this all makes sense. We are going to need a 50% deposit in about three weeks and the rest right before the trip. Rabbit is going to set up a PayPal account for this to make it easier. Any questions send myself or Rabbit (buttabing) an email. We need a head count as soon as possible from all of you fun peeps.
This lake party is going to be a blast!
Houseboat stateroom $1200
Houseboat hide-a-bed $800 (only one of these)
Houseboat top deck $600 (sleeping on the top deck on a sleeping bag and air mattress)
Non houseboat peeps $300
Remember these prices are per couple.

CAN'T WAIT!!!! Let's move the date up! Just kidding, but seriously can't wait for this party!
The prices for those not staying on the houseboat are for their two meals supplied by the hosts and to help to offset the costs of having a party boat, using the facilities on it, ie: bathrooms, showers, hot tub, firewood, ice, fridge and freezers and the fuel to get it up the lake a little ways.
The boat is actually a 70' Titanium.
It is important to get the deposits in so we can get an accurate count for meals etc.
Can't wait to get to this event! It's our favorite of the year!

Thanks to those who have gotten their deposits in.
We still have room on the house boat for anyone interested. As for people who might have any questions about this event (PARTY) just drop us a note. We would be happy to answer any questions.

Dang, I wish we could go. We were going to Burley for the regatta, but now we have another commitment.
Remember; you DO NOT need a boat to go. There will be plenty there.
We'd like to go on the lake powell trip. ???? How do we sign up????

I'd send a message to the OP(TNT4FUN2). I think they're the ones handling it.

years ago we went with a couple whos woman had learned some exotic dancing. He flashed a light on her shadow in one of the caverns formed by erosion on the lake and it was so erotic=== I cum and cum on the woman I was with at the time... One of most erotic fantasies ever. I hope some of you women have done some erotic dance lessons, so we can all enjoy it again.

Hey all, so I'm going to Powell in early June, and we now have an extra few couples joining in, but no room on the boat. I'm saying camp on the beach, but they are worried about snakes. Question, have any of you Powell vets ever had a problem with snakes? I've seen them down there before, but never heard of any crawling into sleeping bags or tents. Any info would be appreciated.

The girls have witnessed tons of one eyed trouser snakes down there on our trips......

Camping on the beach is the only way we've ever done Lake Powell and we've never had an issue with snakes. What weekend are you going down and what marina? Is it a vanilla group or lifestyle? We may be down there and I don't want to "blow your cover" if we run into eachother.

We are thinking about going to do the pre-scout over Memorial weekend.
We can't wait either.
The flotilla up one of the canyons from last year. Anyone remember what canyon this is?
We will be in the slips over Memorial weekend, stop in and say hi. M&M
M & M. That sounds good. Looking forward to see you.

Hey everybody, even if you are just going to participate and not stay on the house boat we still need your response and deposit so that we can account for food.
Your help in responding will greatly help us. Just send us a message with any questions or for deposit info.
Thank you

For those interested in going on this trip there is one less expensive option: if you have your own boat and are self contained and will not be using the house boat facilities ie fridge, freezer restrooms etc.. You may still participate for $150. This will include diners for fri and sat night and the night time house boat parties.
Hopefully this will help to clarify a less expensive option for some of you.
If you have questions drop me a note.
Thank you

We will be at Antelope.
We are so looking forward to this group party. We have been going for a few years to Lake Mead on a Houseboat trip with up to 30 couples and a few singles, which has been fun. In fact we sign up already for this fall, but really looking forward to meeting all that goes on this trip, and it will be our first time to Lake Powell. Can't wait!!!
As we get ready to head for the lake this weekend we are wishing it was time for the Powell Party all ready. Can't wait to see every body.
There is still room for more to go with lots of different options available. Drop us note with any questions.

Wow, we are 1 month away from this. For those who have inquired if there is still space for people to go? Yes there is! The more people that want to go the better.
So those of you that have been waiting to see if your schedules permit there is still time.
We have also been asked if you can just come for Friday and Saturday night? Yes that works too.
Drop us a note if you have any questions.

Rabbit, did you guys go down over Memorial weekend? We are taking the boat down next weekend to get it set up in the yard, then we are taking the fam down the following weekend. Can't wait for the Powell Party!!!! If you get a minute, send me the info on paypal so I can get you some money.
We were at Powell this weekend, a bit sad we'll be missing the adult trip this year tho'.

We are going to miss you! :-(
Ok, I've been asked many times if single guys are welcome or not. I'm never sure how to answer that because for us, a few single "gentlemen" would be fine but if there were too many and they didn't understand their role, things could get ugly. What's ths general consensus?

If single guys want to go I don't see a problem with it. They need to be respectful just like everyone else and if not then we vote them off the island and take them back to the dock.
Sound off.....who's going on this besides us...and if you're not going...WHY THE HELL NOT? LOL I mean it's only the best party place on earth so how could you miss it?

We had some friends that went down last year and had a total blast .... will there be a boat to do some wakeboarding and/or waterskiing?
Yes there will be several boats to ski, board or tube behind or if you want to see the lake fast that can be arranged as well. Skiing and site seeing during the day party on the house boat sit in the hot tub or splash down the slide at night. It is fun of all types.

Wow, after being at Lake Mead the last two weekends and Sand Hallow today all we can think about is the great time coming at Powell. It is coming up fast.

Wash your boat, no mussels
Ohh, we did! Lots of hot water.
We're sad we won't be headed down the lake to see everyone - however, we have a short weekend and are now planing on going for just Sat. night out of Bullfrog if anyone else is up that way.

Do you guys store your boat down there or are you towing it for one night?
Two weeks to go!

Oh yeah! The menu is set and party preperations are started. Can't wait to see everyone!!
We will have our boat stored at Bullfrog, that's why we can the one night. but driving all the way down lake won't make sense.

It's only a two hour ride. Or an hour in a fast boat.

Right on. We are storing ours there this year as well. Are you going to be down there this weekend by chance, or know anyone who is down there and could do me a quick favor?
Only one week left to this great event. We can't wait to see everybody.
We are thinking of twister and black lights with body paint for night time deck fun. Does anybody else have ideas for great night time activities or games?? Looking for the groups input.

Don't forget the hot tub on the top deck and the water slide!
Oh yeah and hot tubing too!
This is going to be such a good time. There is still room for more people if any one else wants to go. Even if you can't make the whole trip you can do just the weekend.
Send us an email for more info.

Waking up this morning to the smell of simmering Sicilian pasta sauce that has already been cooking two days. Adding more ingredients for the next 3 days while it simmers. I love this smell. Can't wait for Thursday night pasta night on the lake!
Anticipation has so gripped us we're rolling out tomorrow. See ya'll at lifestyle cove ;-)
So is the menu: Thursday-Italian, Friday-Pot luck and Saturday-Pig?
SPUDZ wrote:

I was thinking potluck Thursday Italian Friday and luau Saturday. But we can switch and do Italian thur night and potluck Friday. Does anyone else have input for this?
Lets keep with the potluck Thursday night so the salads and things people are bringing can get used the first night and we don't have to store them. Sound okay?

This is why I was confused.....I agree with doing the potluck on Thursday as well.
Sorry, my mistake. I'm so ready to be there I was rushing days.
To clear any confusion, Thursday is Pot Luck with everyone bringing a dish to share.
Friday is pasta night and Saturday is the Luau dinner consisting of Hawaiian pork loin, kahlua pork, Hawaiian Mac salad, potato salad and green salad.
We have not planned for group drinks. It is easier for people do bring their drinks of choice.
Looking forward to seeing everyone there. This is going to be another great party!!
