Alrighty friends, I (the mr) am now in Chicago an looking for stuff to do. Outside the normal Wrigley field and White Sox thing of course. I posted a while ago and got lots of advice on where to go but I can't remember anything outside second city comedy. So, any ideas on good pizza places, bars and/or adult fun?
The blues scene in Chicago is pretty hot. If you want to see some gritty local blues bands, I highly recommend a place called Kingston Mines. If you want the more commercial jazz scene, then BB Kings is the place to go.
There are a bunch of good stake places in that town. There are some OK Italian places too. There is a real good Brazilian restaurant called Fogo De Chao. It's kind of pricy (like $80 per head the last time I went), but the food was all outstanding & they gave you more than any sane person could possibly want to eat. They just keep bringing different cuts of meat to the table until you tell them to stop. & even the salad bar was great all by itself It's fixed price for the food & drinks are extra.
I never really had time to hit the play clubs in that town. I was always too tied up with other things when I was there. The local bars & blues clubs seemed to have a good selection of women present. If you were to go there looking to pick someone up, I think that the hunting grounds would be fairly fertile.

Giordanos pizza is a must! They have several locations throughout the downtown area.
Ghost tour!! pretty cool stuff... AND THE PIER..i dont know if its warm there but there is boat rides, shows and all sorts of other stuff there..LOVE CHICAGO... minus the winter
