Were going to be booking for the event in Lava Hot Springs for May. We were curious if anyone had any recommendations to where to Book and to who is the most lifestyle friendly. Thanks for the input

We were there last week and met a local in a bar called the Wagon Wheel, and through thinly veiled questioning we asked him which places were amenable to naked group tubbing and adult frolicking. He recommended Riverside, where you can reserve private tubs in the hotel basement (if you have a room at the hotel). He said you can get 10 to 12 people in some of the tubs. The Riverside also has a decent restaurant which is hard to find in Lava. The local PD is quite tolerant of open consumption of alcohol, but not so much with public nudity (lots of families with kids go there), so any of the public pools are going to be off limits to open LS displays.
Also be cautious about the claims of the local motels. We rented what was billed as a two-bedroom suite, which turned out to be two beds crammed into a small room designed for one bed. Not a problem if you really really really like your traveling companions and none of you snore. All of the hotels are older and have the quirks that come with decay.
We are not long-time veterans of Lava, so others might have better information.

Out of all the offerings, Riverside Inn is the better choice IMO. The hot tub rooms are not big, I'd say 4 people max, but they are private and as Enlightened said, the restaurant is top notch. The Blue Moon is also a great bar (only two in Lava).
