Seriously, why don't people have any photos on their profile? I can understand if you just joined the site, and are not sure whether you want to stay on it, or not, but how exactly do you expect for anyone to be interested if there is nothing to be interested in. The first thing I do when I am searching is click the photo tab. The search at that point is only showing people that are currently online, and have photos online. That usually removes about the first 50 profiles. Sorry, but as far as I know, the only people on these sites are perves, and I'm one of them. We're not looking for love. This is all about shallow lust, and we're ok with that. HAHA
Do you think it should be a requirement after a period of time on this site that people have some photos up? Not saying that you have to have face pics up, but at least one or two. What does everyone else think about this? I personally think this would remove at least a few of the fakes. If they put up fake photos, they won't meet anyone, and it would allow us a way to know who to block from viewing ours. Agree to meet us, stand us up multiple times, and you get blocked.

We often don't have pics up because we're mutants and we've found that if we can get people to meet us we can leap out at them suddenly and, as they're frozen with raw shock and fear, we can get us some. I know, it's sick, but we do what we gotta do.

No reason for it to be a requirement...As WESEE said..it has a way of solving it's self. Personally we never show any interest in anyone online, without pictures...but I would guess there are some who don't care to meet people online. They encounter enough folks at M&G's or parties, etc....and meet them there. At that point..the pictures aren't a big deal at all.

I'll tell what puzzles me about pictures... Why do people put pictures of anything but themselves in their profile? I see pictures of cats, dogs, cars, motorcycles, and scenery, etc. And there are loads of pictures of other people; are they just pictures of people they would like to look like?

Seperimentor, I will try to explain what our intentions about our photos. There is one photo of us, one photo as a demonstration of humor, because we love to laugh, and two photos of what we enjoy doing for fun outside the bedroom which I might say quite effectively shows we are relatively in shape, and active people. I am currently an AMA qualified amateur endurance racer, but my whole family rides. That seems to be the best way to bring in those that have similar interests that we can get along with, or at least give someone something to start a conversation with. We hoped that they all together show that it's not all about sex. In our private photo album there is a full face photo of both of us, but I will load a few more sex photos since I can take a hint, and even sympathize. I'm quite the perv myself-haha.
The question is not posed to cause problems for anyone, but rather to answer a question. A question of what the goal of anyone on this, or any other site is? I was wondering if I am being hasty by bypassing these profiles, or if everyone does? Perhaps if there were some explanation I have overlooked, I could expand my horizons a little. I rarely put too much thought in what I write in these forums. Mainly because I don't take the forum itself too seriously. It's a flaw.

I hear people say they would rather just email a pic when someone asks. As a potential asker that puts one in the awkward position of having to tell them you aren't attracted to them physically rather than just pass them by anonymously. When confronted with no pic and potential drama resulting from no pic or a pic you can decide on before conversing it's a no brainer. skip strait to the pic.
having no pic in the public album or just having full body pic without a face pic sounds acceptable if later you are granted access to see them either full body with face pic or maybe just a face pic. unfortunately sometimes just seeing the face is not enough you would like to get a round about idea of what their lower body looks like. we are not saying we expect perfection by any means but everyone wants to have some idea of what the other couple looks like. you could just send a pic later of what you look like through email but isn't that the same if you grant someone the privilege of seeing your private album with a full body or face pic when you approve a friend request. this also helps in keeping your personal email private. we are also among the many that don't like to display our faces in the public album but have no problem having a face pic in our private album for those interested to see.
