I (Mr.) will be headed to Boston for 3-5 weeks sometime in the spring and was wondering if there were any cool places outside the docks to go see while I am up there. Also if anyone wanted to show me around.
We moved here from Boston. As far as places to check out, if its not too cold, take the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. Also, Provincetown at the end of cape cod is very cool. Even though it is mostly a gay community, people watching is very cool and (sterotype warning here) the restuarants are awesome.

SO many cool places to check out in Boston. You can take a DUCK tour to kind of get an overview. Of course all the historic sites. Quincy Market is fun. Fenway Park if you're sports fans. Take the Red Line out to Cambridge in the evening on weekends...lots going on there usually. Easy to get around on the subway. Just Google Boston sightseeing to check out all the attractions and see which ones interest you.
Harvard Square has some cool pubs. You can rent a bike and ride along the Charles River on either side. Definately get to the north end for Italian food. Dessert at Mike's pastry is a treat.
Quick update: I (Mr.) will be in Chicago for 3 weeks in April and Boston for 2 weeksin May. So if anyone would like to show me around these beautiful cities, I'm sure I could think of a way to repay the favor.
But can you believe it? I get to go to both Wrigley Field and Fenway Park! That I'm excited for! Thanks for the suggestions so far too. You guys are great.
