SO my messenger is having some issues, it seems that when it does finally connect (it takes about 3-5 mins to connect) that no matter whos name i click on to message it will bring up only the person at the bottom of the list. Is this an issue everyone is having or is it just us?? Thank you

just came back up for me...
It does the same for us, but if you go into your friends list and click on the messenger button, it will bring up the right people. 
Same here, only brings up the bottom name when trying to use it.

Yeah, Dave and I are also having challenges with the IM/chat feature.

We have no message bar, so nothing!
Same here. Seems to be pretty often..
mine just says forever offline its activated, I put in an email to support nothing....
We don't mind that much. We usually just use ESP to communicate with others anyway (or sometimes The Holy Ghost...if ESP is down). It's WAY more fun and you always get the answers you want and not some lame rejection or insult.
