The cartoon itself really isn't my style, personally. Although we fall into the 'acceptable' group, it just seems like if the cartoon is an accurate representation of the style of parties, I wouldn't feel very comfortable.

I didn"t get to see the cartoon, but I think get the gist here. I think how you deal with age difference is another case where "TO EACH HIS (or HER) OWN" comes in. If someone wants to limit the age range they play in, fine, if they don't that should not be an issue with others as long as the parties involved are not concerned about it. There is 13 years difference between me and my wife,and we have been together for over 22 years now. I have noticed even greater spreads in other couples on this site. We have played with people from the 20's to the 60's ,and it was not always us who initially made the selection.
Here is an interesting thought: I wonder how many of those in their 20's now, who only desire to play with those near their age, will feel the same way when they are 45?
