Well we have to report that we were at Burning man from Wed 6pm till 6 am sun.... this event should be on everyone's bucket list!.... it is all ages and all walks of life.. it is not about sex and drugs but some of that too.. mostly the art and dust! I dont like the dust.

it was a great time.... but the dust is a negative...
We always dreamed of going, but for me it was to build a two seater vehicle to curse around in, here is some of the crazy things people build.

We loved the tensil at comfort and joy. Especially at night with the lighting as you walked thought it.
so many cool things to see... in 3 full days we didn't see half of it..
I think this is a SLC art car??
colorful stuff... madmax rules.... many have sound systems that any club woudl be proud to have..
tons of money and work... involved in some of these things...
folks are very friendly..
this is a giant VW I mean giant!!
I guess a famous camp...
I guess a famous camp...
A camp giving out ice cream whipped up in 3 mins using LN2. I donated the remains of my whipped cream liquor. yummy
it was a decadent party is some areas of the clock circle.... that surrounds the open playa in the middle...
some camps seemed to waste a lot of prime camping space that went unused.. this was cool to look at...
sometimes you had to look in hidden places for the art... natural or man-made..
and Yes they had the controversial (due to violence) thunderdome.. it was so hot to see this thong clad babes climb up for a better view and the cheering as the two guys swung around on springy harnesses hitting each other with a foam bat... sometimes kicking and flailing each other... it was presided over by the main woman with a staff who controlled all the action.
inside the temple which burns sundae night... it is a silent burn and an occasion to let people be free of their troubles or lost ones..
this group set up a free coffee and french pastry near the temple the day the man burned..... bistro tables classical music and fake french accents included... just what we need an hour or so after sunrise on the Playa
a few messages
folks starting to line up for the man to burn.... sorry my battery died.. but the fireworks were the best we saw this year.... this looks relatively dust free doesn't it?...
it was not so dust free ever!! as a flash pic reveals... they had like 600 fire dancers perform before the man burned all around the man... this is the group in front of us taking a group pic before it started.
the man raises his arms expressing his willingness to burn for us all!

These streamers were AMAZING! One of my favorite things there. So fun and gentle. And just pretty in the breeze. I wish I had paid attention to how they put it together.
How about some naked ones without heads of course.
He was larger than he let on, and sure he tells me after Im bent over.
The Naked Tiki Bar, spent time there every day.
The Temple Gate. WE decided that at least one day we would not wear anything but the eswential hat and belt. But going to the Temple naked was liberating. No one even looked at us, but we knew we were free of everything...

We went to the streamer every night. We would strip naked if we werent all ready and just walk through them over and over....
I was an experience everyone should try.... One thing was the scale of things out on the Playa. Things looked so large and distant but just a few pedals and you were there...
