Something that we have been wondering is, does it make a huge difference for people when they see verified real vs. verified in person on a profile? We understand the huge difference (at least for us) with not being verified at all, but is this mostly a status thing, or do the majority of you favor the verified in person seal of approval?

Guess we're the same...While we can definately understand why it could be important to some, as there probably are a great number of "posers" or picture hounds, or married people who are doing this behind their spouses backs, they really haven't been a problem for us. We honestly seldom even look at their "seal" of approval.
And dont get us wrong, we arent saying that we are looking for it, it was more of a curiosity as far as our own profile.

When your verified as real.......a couple or single lady or single male can clicks on it to say they met you and confirm you are real. When it is Verified in person......Then the host at a meet n greets has met you in person or even the administrators can verify it. So that is the slight difference!!
The curiosity for us is the couples who have been on the site for a year, two years, five years, etc. and have yet to be verified??? In fact, just asked one guy if his wife knows "they're" on the site and now he won't talk to us.
Verification if you are taking a poll... otherwise we expect the profile to be fake as well as probably a no show. Like those without pics...
We only varify people as REAL if we meet them in person without exception, theres way too many fakes on here and we take it very seriously.
