We are both close to 60 but don't look it. Found that if the chemistry is right it hasn't really mattered. Been with couples younger than my son 33, and a couple much older. Good times were had by all.
My rule is +\- 10 years...just a personal guideline.
+13 years for me but I make exceptions. Anyone old enough to be my parent seems a bit to old, and my mom is 46 this year.
I know for a fact there are some sexy ass 46+ year olds though so I guess it really depends on their personality and looks. (yes I said looks they matter)

We were 35 and met our first couple, they were a mixed race couple in early 60's.
We thought god no lets run but with no experience and feeling trapped we spent the night with them. Well we ended up having a great friendship over the next 6 years until failing health in their relationship prevented them from playing. Funny seeing this thread up when I logged on as I had just been thinking with the rampant ageism in swinging(as well as vanilla) , I wonder how many people never find their "soul mate" because they had tight parameters for age or height etc., but mainly age. I know I've notice big shifts as the milestones passed. 40... all of a sudden I was too old for the 30-35 year olds. 45... got worse. And now that I have hit the big 50 few even look..lol And I've been lucky and aged well! I do find it both interesting and frustrating to not even be considered based on nothing more than a relative time of birth. It's just not a criteria for how I decide who I associate with.

So when meeting someone at a party or in person, do ya'll with age limits ask people how old they are or do you go based on how old they look and act? I can honestly say I have never asked anyone that question but for me age is just a number....

I (the female side) think that anyone that is my fathers age or near that is my cut off. Women I suppose the cutoff there is mid 40s or so. s far as the male side he says that he hates to set a hard number but he doesn't want to sleep with someone that is his mother or fathers age since they are quite older.

When I was in my 20's, I was with several women older than my mother. Some of the best experiences I ever had. It taught me to never rule out anyone cuz of their age. We have both been with older, and younger, and to be honest, the older folks are better. Not to mention, no drama or head games. Us older folk tend to know what we want and dont play the games the younger people do.
It is obvious that there is an 'age' issue, when you have absolutely nothing in common. A big part of being sexy consists of the words coming out of you mouth. If someone is at a completely different place in life...you might as well just use your collection of toys to enjoy the finale. Just my opinion...

I think it would be interesting for the Administrator to survey the ages of this site's members and give us an idea of how many people fall into various age groups, maybe by decade or every 5 years.

Excellent Point ~ I was at a fun house party this past Sat Night and it was never asked, "before we fuck one another, how old are you ? ! LOL ~ I believe they should remove AGE from all sites ! IMHO =)

IMHO, it boils down to chemistry...if it's there, it's there. Some people will get hung up on age and other's won't. Friendship is a big part of it and you will tend to gravitate towards people who you can enjoy as friends, regardless of age.
Go with what gets you excited and not age! As long as you can have a good time with someone does age matter? When I was younger I spent time with ladies older than my parents and now that I am older I have been with some younger then my oldest child. If you can enjoy talking with someone and there is an attraction then go for it and have fun!

We've all discussed here on the Forums more times than I can count, that there is an abundance (OVER abundance?) of bi-females here.
Given that our 'primary' interest is with couples closer to our own age, I obviously spent more time reading profiles from more "seasoned" members.
Something that seems to be pretty heavily balanced in a single direction is the 'senior' couples looking more for either a couple with a VERY bi female, or a bi female, independant of a male partner.
Now I'm sure I'm going to get a lot of dissenters on the opinion I've formed about this, but, I'm guessing it's because a disproportionate number of the older men suffer from E.D. - or total impotency - and it's now all about pleasing/satisfying the wife.
Believe me, we have NO problem with this.
Whatever works for them is their business.
It could also mean the guy just enjoys watching.
But, to take a bit of a selfish view on it, that kinda narrows down the opportunities for US , and many others like us, to find couples our age to play with.
So, for those of you who aren't into us "experienced veterans", please keep in mind that your day WILL inevitably come, and "too old" will no longer be a part of either your vocabulary or your mentality.
It happens to all of us - with 100% unavoidably.

Ok, but some of us were just kids then.. I was barely able to remember it! I think I was maybe 12 yrs old? Oh, wait, maybe that is my age telling on me.. NOT . lol. Sorry, had to say it..
We all have our own limits, but when I was in my 20's I loved men 20 yrs. older... and still true to some extent. The chemistry has to be there at any age to feel good and not you are giving a mercy meeting. And the same goes for younger men. Not the age but the maturity level. I have been with men from 18 up and have enjoyed them as I hope they learned and enjoyed me. Sean Connery was sexy and looked great til well into late 70's or was it 80's?
