That is by far utter bullshit...So its not okay to harm a child yet its okay this way. Whoever passed this I think needs to have their own pc checked then charged.
While child porn is horrible, I agree with the judge in this situation. What he's saying is this: Just because child porn shows up in your web browser's cache, doesn't mean you intended to view it or even tried to view it.
It's like hitting the wrong website and 20 windows pop up all over your screen. You didn't want to see all of the popups, but the images from them are now stored in your browser cache.
Is the defendant a scumbag? Probably, and the rest of the story points out that he probably did. But the judge made the right call on the technical issue of images found in his browser cache.
