Maybe we could keep a post going of upcoming group rides or rallies that others may be interested in participating in since the weather seems to be on our side.

Hopefully this ride calendar will be big enough on here. We are going to the Elko Rally and I'm sure a few more, Sturgis most likely.
The Beartooth is awesome, the ride over the pass at 11k feet is amazing.

It's usually to cold here this time of year but this year has been strange.
We're up for a Sat ride, sometime! And planning on Elko, as well...We actually had a very nice little meet and greet one afternoon out there during the rally last year! Hope to see just as many, if not more this year!

Count us in! We'll be going on as many rides as we can this year, dividing our time between riding and camping. So many hobbies, and not enough time to do them! We're definitely going to elko again. We had such an awesome time last year and we're thinking our group and M&G will be bigger for this one! We'll also be making at least one trip to Vegas this year too. Who's in? Take the state motorcycle safety and endorsement course, they have changed the laws a bit since I did but here is the link. Even if you have rode for years it's still a great class and the stuff you will learn in it can save your life.

If you choose to ride, ride what your comfortable with. It's a great hobby, not a competition. And of course, the motorcycle safety course suggested by TNT4FUN2 is highly recommended as well. You'll be glad you did, it's great for increasing both competence and confidence.
I'm jealous! I want to go on a ride on Saturday. But we will be in Wendover for Joan Jett. If the weather is good, would love to next weekend though.

Who is going on the Elko ride this weekend? We are staying in Wendover on Saturday then to Elko Saturday. It would be fun to get a group going together!
How long a ride is it? The cost of the rally? I guess, where is the info on the rally? Sorry. E's birthday is Friday and curious as to what the rally entails.

It sounds fun. Warrant & Skidrow are playing. It's $40.00 per person. That includes registration to the Jamboree, concert tickets to both of them, bike parking, & some merchandise you get from there I think. You can go to elko motorcycle jamboree 2012 & get all the details

Honestly...I only paid the first couple of times to support the rally, before I decided I really wasn't getting anything for my money, other than a t-shirt, and a standing spot a little closer to the stage. And the rally was doing just fine from all the venders and business it brought to town.
Now I go...support the venders and the local establishments...and stand a little further from the stage. Call me cheap, I guess. But I dare say, from what I've seen very few buy the registration. I have lot's of company.
