We like to consider ourselves a true WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) type couple. Nobody likes surprises when they meet up in person. Do profiles with pics older than one year send red flags your way about them? How would you react to someone if when you met them, they said that their pictures were five years a go and that's what they looked like then? All we ask is for some pics of what you look like NOW! Isn't that what we'll be interested in playing with? People change and that's a normal factor in life. Seems, some people are living in the past when their bodies where hotter, better in shape and overall more attractive. Do you think it's wrong for a couple to post a young, hot pic on a main pic and you go to their profile to find an updated (five year or more) pic of them and it's a difference of night and day? Yes, I'll be the first to admit, about 15 years a go, when I was training over four hours a day in the gym, it was very important to me then to have a ripped body. Not that I'm totally disgusted with my apearance now, I feel that people should just be honest with themselves and post pics that resemble their TRUE selves now. Nothing like a bad first impression when you meet someone face to face.

our pics are as new as 2 months up to a year old. we look exactly the same as we did a year ago, so we never really put much thought into changing them, but we have added some here and there.
to us, it doesn't matter how old pics are as long as the people still look the same when we meet them.

We have so many pictures that it is somewhat irrelevant how old they are, we have many pics in our profile some new, some old. Its much more important to us to meet our friends for a fun night, we don't really put a lot of stock in pics but rather personality - in person!
If you've gained or lost more than 12.4 pounds, or something else about your appearance has changed greatly, Then update your photos. I guess we'd put a 10 year statute of limitations as well just because.

Our pics are almost a year old, so it's time to get some more done...anyone know a good photographer that we don't have to mortgage the house for?
if pic is more than a year old it's fine, but should put a disclaimer up saying so. od The fact is no matter HOW good we all looked "back in the day", we ALL play with the current years model. I find the biggest issue is people stay the same age year after year or can't tell the truth about your weight. Sheesh..
My pics range from 2 months to 5 years old. For me, I like to think the age notation is a bigger stumbling block than the pics ... LOL! I shoot my own almost exclusively, so getting at least one very current shot up is no problem.

Honesty is the best policy. If you consider this site is a dating site, then stats and pics should be fairly current. I would say within 2 years. If you want to show what you looked like 10 or 20 years ago it is ok to have them there as long as you mark them as old photos or date the new ones.

We DO agree that there should never be a "bait and switch" where all you have is pictures that do not identify you now. If we can't look at your picture and pick you out at a party, then you're doing it wrong. Hahaha.

same thing,, anything over a year is classified out of date in our eyes, we are some of the lucky few who never change but we still update all our pics....
I update my picture. However I also keep so older ones as well. To remember memories of course. Hubby and I have only been together for five years. In our pics most are new and this year. However some of them are from when we first got together. We sure have grown wise as I look through these pictures of ours. We would never surprise someone with something that is not real. So you will always see updated pics every few months or when I feel to share one(=

Hell, this is such a small part of our life that we just don't take the time to keep up on a regular basis as far as the minutiae like pics on this website. Our pics range from a couple months old to a couple years old but we think they all look about the same, we'd guess that most folks would have trouble telling which pics were older.
As long as they're generally representative of the person, we're not too concerned as it tends to be a combo of pics, text, and email exchanges that creates the first meet, then it's the personal connection from then on.

I would say anything over a year if u have changed is too old. Don't put up ur "best" pic that is 5 years old and 30 lbs lighter, no one likes a liar. To go along with that.. Don't put up pics with exes, that's just kinda tacky.... It's an outdated photo and doesn't belong in the profile. I get bored and take pics, strange habit of mine so I always have an extremely updated photo in my pro or available.. I really don't change much either way but photo taking is fun. When it all comes down to it, take down ur 1+ photos that deceive ppl for what u look like.
can I just say again - pics, while an ok representation, really aren't that great. If nothing else, you should really ask the person to show themselves to you on cam. It's so much harder to fake.

Even though some pictures may have an outdated date on them due to camera time date not set, I would consider anything over 2 years old for women, and 4 years for men outdated (unfortunately women do tend to age a little faster then men..).
I was just saying to the Mr. the other day that we need to take some time to do some new pics. Sometimes it is so hard to get the alone time. Besides our newest profile pic our pics are up to a year old but I did notice a couple of our private are from 2 years ago. If we have changed any, its been for the better since we are both down 25 pounds & building a little more muscle at the gym but that is neither here nor there. Would love to have someone that we could trust come and take some new naughty pics of us. A bi single female maybe? Any takers?
I would love to update our pics but getting hubby to take pictures is like pulling teeth!! He hates them. I have been losing weight so getting some new pictures taken would be awesome lol. but i can't afford a photographer right now :S
BTW I am a photographer, never taken boudior photos but would be willing to if anyone wants. Reasonably priced too and I can take non-boudior too lol.
