So we have thought of the party tonight!!! The rsvp said 87 , we counted a total of 6 cpls there!!! 3 Cpls tht came together, which included us! But to all of you who didnt make it, You didnt miss anything!!! To start, we had to park 4 blocks away and pay to do so, then cover charge! This party was hyped up to be a big Mardi Gras, in fact it was very small, and a yawning event, we made it upstairs, to the "VIP" area for us lifestyle folks, Which was open to anyone, and people were offended it seemed by the erotic outfits, and can we say not much of a "VIP" area to begin with! All 3 of us cpls didnt even make it to midnight! Maybe this is why none of us want to pay to go somewhere to meet and mingle, We discussed it on the way home and think we will stick to grabbing a bottle of fun and hang out with friends, Hope the other 81 rsvp's had a better nite ! Sorry to hear it did not turn out so well. Sucks being all sexed up and nowhere to go. We are thinking of getting some fun peeps together to go to a regular vanilla bar and totally tease all present getting the ladies to flash for beads.....we have done it in the past and it has never been a bad time. So if we do, come join us and get your beads on!!
We were there as well. Not at all what we expected. Only a few couples dancing off the dance floor ,dance floor stayed empty. The upstairs VIP area had 5-6 people. Everyone stood around. 15min wait for 2 bartenders.

Sucks to hear this happened. People are so flakey we've found when it comes to this. Everyone likes the idea of getting together but I don't know if its cold feet, issues w/ each other, or what seems to make it not happen. We try getting couples together regularly and feel lucky if 1/3 of them show up.

Yes it was unorganized, being a newer club we understood that... but we made the best of it and met a lot of new people and danced (even on stage, something we don't ever do!) and played pool, and drank and had a great time! And even went home with a sexy lady!!!! ;-)
We've thrown very large Mardi Gras parties and Halloween Parties in the past,and most people showed because we made them pre-pay for tickets, so they had some investment in the party. Most of them turned out good. What cracked us up the most was--the ones who come and seem to act like we owe them some kind of magical fuck-dust or something; I mean if you are dumb, don't work out, and have a rude personality, just going to a party of people in the lifestyle doesn't guarantee you to get laid or be invited to an orgy. Two times we gave a trip to New Orleans and as soon as we rewarded it we started getting attitude that we owed this person more. No feeling of thanks, but more of 'what else can I suck ot of you'. The Last one we gave a prize to New Horizons in Seattle--our favorite swing club. Got the same attitude from the couple, really even condescended to us. It was really a shame. We forgot to get them a car to drive around, our bad. Gave you a 2000 gift, get your own effen car, cheepasses. Well, anyway. My message here is be thankful for those who try and if you win something, show some effen gratitude. Swingers can be such cheep asses. Pay for the show, enjoy what you can and be more thankful, cause if you aren't you may scare off those, like us, who tried. 
We didn't know of this party but we're always up for a good one. We usually invite a couple with us so no-matter the outcome of the party we'll have a good time. We went and had a great time. We were impressed with the club. Very nice venue. Not sure who was counting but at midnight there were over 200 folks there. It was a mixed group and that added a bit we suspect. Mrs. Simple enjoyed flashing when someone actually had the nerve to ask, too funny. Got some fun flash pics from the semi private VIP area. We were only up there long enough to take some pictures. Stayed on the dance floor most of the night, never sat down.

We went made the best of it and went and left early. I understand the new club issues I have been there a few times with club openings, the best advice I ever received was if your bartenders are struggling you better be ready to put your ass to work behind the bar. The tone of the night was set by the bar unfortunately and the key phrases I heard were I am not going back to the bar either because the line was so long or because after waiting you get to the bar to be told all i know how to do is beer.

We were there too. We had fun, but also left early. Probably because it was Friday and we were tired from a long week. Kath couldn't be missed. She was dressed as a scantily clad school girl. The line for the bar wasn't too bad. There were 4 bar tenders behind the bar when we counted.
We decided to sit near the dance floor and not in the VIP section. We saw at least 10 couples we knew. Sorry we didn't see you Sin. We would have liked to say hi. It was a bit dark so it was hard to meet people you didnt know.

SLCCPLFUN I agree with you.. these overlapping parties are not by accident.
Lets face it most of these hosts are trying to make a little green and no problem with that. But once these parties leave the buddy freebie size and the host is trying to make money some expectations need to be met.
First off it is sad that if you post any negative comments or talk about the party in a negative honest way in chat that you get reprimanded.
It is sad that some of these poorly planned parties have ruined it for most of us. We are very reserved about attending any parties at this point. The fantasyer parties dont disappoint. We used to think parties at unknown locations were kinda cool. Now there is no way are we going unless we know where a party is being held at. No more one toilet, non decorated theme, warehouse parties for us!
And if you hosts do want to let your cheap BD buddies in for free at least dont do it in front of us paying couples.

And the BYOB share your booze for our BD buddy parties are no good. I am still pissed at my missing large bottle of Jeager and all my 2am sobering waters that cheap peeps stole from my cooler at a West side Halloween party two spook days ago.
These parties are nothing without us the paying sexy guests (customers) so let your money do the talking. by the way what ever happened to that Decker lake party venue and when do we all get to redeem our free party night. That place showed some promise. It just needs 500 sexy customers.

One mor thing.. if it is true that one party host company called the fire dept/cops to another hosts party that is very sad and stupid. Do you think that overall made folks want to attend more or less private location parties?? DUH! We do like Langs public location parties. That one Halloween party a couple years back at that North side Gay club was great.
I missed this one but went to Heartgasm which I thought was a lot of fun and Lang was a great host.

I don't have any complaints. We had a blast. WE never went up to the VIP room just saw people we knew and floated around mingling. It was 5.00 to get in which was way cheaper then private events. It was just a club atmosphere and it felt good. WE danced all night on the dance floor and got a free drink and we had three with us. Saw lots of our friends not in the lifestyle and was fun with them too. So it was a fun deal in our eyes. Not sure why some parked 4 blocks down the street. We came later and found parking just down the street. It takes a good 5 or more months to get a club going and people to start going regularly. We have seen it happen to many clubs and they are amazing too. So I see that this bar is going to be pretty well off as they get going more. The staff is awesome too and that in itself speaks words to me. Got to see Miss gay Utah serve me all night long. That was awesome to see her again has been a while since our bad Tooele days hehehe!!! So there is more going on for this bar then meets the eye hope to go back and see the progress!!!
