Anyone know a good place to get STD testing done in UT county? Planned parenthood only has one location left down here, and they told me they don't do blood work, so they gave me another place to go, but I'd like to check all my options first.
No symptoms so far, just want to be 100% sure.
I go to my GP. If you dont have one there is always just going up to salt lake to the clinics they have there for testing.
Stdexpress.com or is it stdtestingexpress.com
Well Jeff, If its yellow and oozing, go to your Doctor...Red and swollen, same thing. Red and oozing...well kiss it goodbye..lol..Just messing with ya dude, Really just go to your general Doctor and he/she can order a STD screening test. they take like a 3 small viles of blood.
The main problem with HAPPY VALLEY is that your doctor has the tendancy to look at you like the devil and then treat you like such. The clinic is better, and that way you don't have to change doctors every 6 months...

You can go to the Utah County Health Department, just off center street in Provo. Go on the open clinic days on Wednesday.

I believe that you can call them and get in on a non wed also if your are in a pinch.

and yes good for you being tested and safe the only way to be
Interesting how this thread has been bumped up a few times. I heard about a clinic out in Lehi also, but I'm not completely sure about it. FYI, I did go to planned parenthood, they did tell me to try the clinic down in Provo, but I wanted to check my options first.

The walk-ins are available on Wednesdays from 1-4, appointments available on Mondays & Thursdays, and the list of prices just seemed a little bit complex. $122 for herpes type 2 blood test, then a whole range of other things. I'm going to see if I can find out about the Lehi one this week, my friend told me it only cost $150 but that could just be for partial testing.

Orem Planned Parenthood only tests for HIV, chlamydia and gonorrhea, but they do have unlubricated condoms available for free. YAY!

I'm used to it mostly. I'm a big guy, some muscle, and my hair has ranged from fro, to inverse mohawk, to bald with a beard, and I've lived in Happy Valley for 12 years. You should see the looks you get when you walk onto BYU campus with a massive fro, and a beard that could rival Hagrid's. Or maybe some good old Friendly Mutton Chops!
I use the SLC public health clinic and other public clinics before i moved here. I have always found them to very professional and non-judgmental. Also less expensive. I had a full battery of tests late last year and it was about $75 including Herpes. In Utah county i'd be inclined to find a public clinic, probably in Provo as other posters have suggested.

This flyer I have for the clinic in Provo lists $122.00 for the Herpes test alone. And I stopped by a Planned Parenthood in WVC, and they said about $350 for a full battery of tests.
