I am relativly new to the place... and I have researched a lot into the medical concerns... and anyways heres whats been on my mind: herpes and HPV
Okay so maybe this is something we don't talk about out loud enough around here... Maybe it should stay seemingly taboo, but I just found a miracle lube and I think EVERYONE should know about it!

And read under "uses" apparently it is 85% effective at stopping transmission of herpes and is "extremly potent" at blocking HPV... WOW!!!
Of course other safety precausions should be taken, but when I foudn out about this, I bought 3 bottles of Divine No. 9 because it has research done by the National Institute of Cancer to prove that it blocks the spread of HPV.

no way in hell I'd take a chance with something like that... condoms are a must.
Strange product, weird study! I didn't see anything where it stated that it was AT ALL effective against Herpes, in fact at least one study stated that it had no effect.
And did ya see what they did with the lil mice vaginas? They actually injected the stuff up there SIX HOURS before they put the virus into them. I like my guys to last, but if some guy ever lasts 6 hours goin' at me I'm smacking him over the head with the biggest vibrator that I've got.
I'm not sure if they made the little guy mice rub the stuff on their little mouse wieners. Judging from the pics of some of the men around here they'd have to use a half bottle of that to get anywhere even near me!

That was with another product called carragaurd which is still in clinical trial... but it should be noted that carraguard (from what i understand) is trying to prevent HIV infection...

so I'm pretty sure what its saying is that it is not only effective for immediate use.. but up to many hours later... which means when the morning time comes around you dont have to put on more! haha

Um that's that's like cops not wearing their vest because someone told them that theres a new t-shirt that stops bullets. We now know unfortunately what the results are of that. Always protect yourself always .
The fact of the matter is that products containing carrageenan are still being tested...there is no answer yet as to just how effective it is. Would it hurt you to use it, as long as you aren't allergic to it, probably not but to use it alone to prevent hpv or herpes would be stupid.

The main thing to note here is most folks say they "always use protection!"or "Only play safe" but in reality they are not being safe at all!! They never use any protection for oral! and both herpes and HPV can be transmitted orally.
So make sure you ask your potential partners about this.

I think he meant to use it WITH condoms as like an extra safety measure
Sounds like a good lube for sure as long as used with condoms of course!! I do believe some lubes are not really good for women as a whole. Some cause UTI which in some women are more painful then most transmitted diseases as the Kidneys can get infected causing many pains in women too.
So picking the right lube is very important so try it out you may like it(=
I know Astro glide is easy to come by but it is not the best at all in anyway just easy to get.
I stick to water base oil or gun oil type lubes....this lube sounds like its like these ones.
Maybe Ill try it could not hurt to try!!
