We are going to Los Cabos next August for a friend's wedding and are looking to stay at the Desire resort and looking for any opinions on the place and the city. (Already have a couple of 'must visit' restaurants and bars)
The hotel is currently a Temptation resort (topless only) but in May is being converted to a Desire resort (full nude).
Due to the layout, nudity isn't allowed on the beach itself but only within the resort. I don't think this will be a problem because the ocean right there isn't good for swimming in anyways (large waves and deathly undertow).
We've only been to Hedo II about 6 years ago so we only have that to compare it to.
So, has anyone been to Cabo?

I haven't been able to get much more info. A few decent reviews on tripadvisor and a confirmation that it will be converted from Temptation to Desire in May.
SoWeberFunCpl, please post a review of the hotel and of the city after your vacation. Anything would be helpful like restaurants you enjoyed and those to avoid. We will be sure to do the same.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days a few years back when it was Desires at that time, we were disappointed to hear that it was changing to a temptations resort. Looks like that didn't pan out so well for them. We had a fantastic time and absolutely will go back if they are truly changing it back. Pool areas are very nice, food was good, the only downfall to the resort is that it is quite always from Los Cabos (downtown). This the reason we only stayed 3 days, the other 4 days we stayed closer to downtown. If you don't mind JUST staying at the resort (which we didn't for those days) then you will be fine. We didn't spend a lot of time at the beach just cause the pools were way fun with games, etc going on. If you want to take some private pics on the beach it is good for that cause there are not a lot of hotels in that area so a little walk and you are all by yourself. we went 2 years ago. had a great time! although dont sugeest applying your suntan lotion on your partner using your body during the daylight, that did not work so well for us. we were asked to stop, go figure. the roof top area is always OK for what ever, even during the day lite. we had some fun with other couples up there a few times while there. at night you are ok in the beds on the beach and pretty much what ever on the grounds. would love to go back soon, but to many other not seen/not done places. have a great time and kiss her once or twice for me?
