Is it just us, or has anyone else noticed the onslaught of profiles with no pics?? You can type out the best profile in the world, and answer every yes/no question people would look for, but really? Do people really chase the ghosts? It scares us when there aren't pics. It even scares us when they do have pics, but only of one person in the couple...
We respect the idea of privacy and discretion, most of us like this life to be separate from our professional lives, but there has got to be a little give right? Hopefully we're not the only ones who feel that way? What does everyone else think?

True enough, but you can see that our private album has a bunch of pics, when we send out friend request emails, we tell people that if they'd like to see what both of us look like, then send a request. Unfortunately, we have people in the community we'd rather not know we are here. I see what you're saying though.
If People of your Community are on this site than unfortunately, they're looking for the same thing you are. Most People who don't have Photos have their issues, but that doesn't stop them from looking. Some people are just more secure than others about this lifestyle.
No "PICTURES" are as bad as pictures from 30 years ago or glamour shots from 10 years ago.
Yeah it makes me a little nervous when the pics are time stamped over 5 yrs. ago... A lot can happen in shorter time. We were planning on updating ours just in the new year to keep them current.

I'd uploaded a lot of pics in the past but folks were complaining that when they pulled them up they cracked their monitor's glass.

Amen, I think that cameras have been on phones for over the past 10+ years. Doesn't have to be amazing, but give a little something...
Those thumbnail pics are a waste, not sure how you do that...or why? We check our pics to make sure they are good enuf for viewing. When checking for new members if they don't have pics, we pass them by. You can be discreet and still show something.
yeah it is annoying when you cant see who is trying to make friends with you. however it is even worse when the pics they have on their profile isnt even them. we had a couple send us a request (we liked the pics) but when we traded more photos in email, it wasnt even them in the ones on their profile. now that is annoying. we are like this, if your here you are here for the same reason we are. we dont judge so be you or dont be here. that is just our thought on the pic situation.
On the thumbnail pics i think that is is pics that are just small i think you need to make sure that the pics are a little bigger i see in our pics we have some and i will be trying to make them bigger so everyone can see them and we dont like the profiles that dont have pics if you are in the lifestyle then act like it sometimes we think that it is just people that want to look at naked pics of people.

Well they don't have to be all naked pics, but at the same time...there should be something to at least spark an interest. Just a ballpark to be in...lol
I don't use photos, but I have a cam. Photos can be faked. I've seen it happen several times. Cam's, while possible to do so, aren't as easy to fake. If you want to see what I look like, I'll let you see me on cam. As long as you let me see your face too.
Not everyone goes into the chat room Jeff. And you say others can see your face IF you can see theirs too...but where is the common courtesy in that statement when you can see their profile pics yet you don't offer the same? "Open mouth, insert foot".
Well, since I've never demanded that they have profile pics unless I'm showing them my face on cam, my foot isn't in my mouth thank you.
If I'm sending them a message, I can just as easily send them a pic or an attachment. But generally, I meet most people through chat anyways.
