Us too. I thought nothing was going on with the motorcycle group. Turns out I just wasn't checking in. Now that we have started a group of our own we would love this so people know when stuff is happening. By the way there are two events this week for "Something other than a club" group so check it out.

The groups area is so freaking stagnant because of this problem. And I don't think management allows sending bulk emails to 'Friends' listings anymore? So there's basically no way to easily contact ALL of the members of a group at once. Essentially renders the group area kinda useless as far as an organizational tool.

Should be the responsibility of the Group Leader/Administrator to do the housekeeping.
Might also need to contact Admin to make sure the glitch is fixed.
