Is there any chance that a place could exist where swingers could go meet other swingers on a regular basis that isn't a club? We find clubs boring and loud. Half the meet and greets are just lifestyle club scenes. Mansion parties are great but they don't exist all the time and would be too expensive if they did. I doubt the non club scene would be viable though.

Were up for meeting up non club on Fridays, we have hosted group dinners in the past, alot of fun. As far as bowling, always fun too and I get great deals because I work for a local bowling estab.
We have been talking about how nice it would be to do it over bloody marry / mimosa Sundays. For us Sundays are fun, there are lots of drink specials on Sundays and its a better vibe. Damn we sound old! Oh well...

We have given up the bar scene and meet and greets a long time ago just not our thing. We have always thought it would be fun to do a rotating poker party each week someone else hosts or Football sunday games with of course Bloody Marys. Just let us know and we would be interested of course we are up in Ogden so for us it would depend on the place and time. Hope this works out.

Let's give it a try. It sounds like bowling has the most votes. That said, there are non club activities we have bypassed because the activity didn't interest us and I'm sure there are people not into bowling. I propose Fat Cats because it also offers black light mini golf and video games. Any opinions on Fat Cats? Another question we should bring up is how to recognize each other in such a vanilla situation. At a club everyone, swinger or not, is rubbing against each other so it's no big deal to accidentally approach the wrong person. Maybe everyone wears pinky rings or something? Maybe I'm wrong and we don't need anything.

Is now a good time to bring up the wrist bands, distinctive rings,and necklaces of christmas past???? Sort of joking however the idea of non-club get meets has allot of potential, look at the summer campout for instance and once there was a bowling party in a closed venue that was a blast, we went to a swingers super bowl party that was awesome, Lava Hot Springs Takeover was too much fun so we definitely think there is room for different social activities. Now on to how to recognize peeps, good luck with that one as a community swingers seem to have been trying to figure that one out since long before we started recreating.

We'd like something like this but it just seems as if it's very difficult to get "enough" folks together at the same time and place. It would be nice to be able to actually talk to folks and hear their voices over the music--I'm weird that way I actually like to know folks before I hit the sack with 'em!

I happen to have rather dangly testicles myself so we will take charge. This month will be a challenge as Christmas eats up our weekends for the rest of the month for family stuff. If we wait the idea will fade though so do weekdays work for this month? Maybe tues or wed or Sundays as simple pleasures said?
If pinky rings don't work maybe a code. I approach you and say "The crow flies at midnight" to which a swinger would reply "Wanna fuck?"
If we can get a consensus on a day, time, and place we will be there. Should be easy as we are just looking for some standardization so we don't need to rent the club or even tell the bowling alley that we are a specific group. We just need to know to go there.

Why not set this up in the GROUP section, add a Bowling Group. set up monthly gigs, open to all that want to join the group, As we meet at the bowling alley, say we are part of the "Gosh I'd Like To Fuck Family Party"....just kidding on that... but give the meeting a monthly name that we all check in on with (RSVP) and have lanes reserved, and draw names to bowl against? We would be glad to par-take....

We agree about the loud music. Maybe it makes us sound old but if you can't carry on a conversation without hurting your vocal cords then it is too loud. Also, late nights are a killer for us because my work makes us both early risers. Unfortunately that means we are typically early risers on the weekends too. The idea of Saturday or Sunday brunch sounds great to us. Heck, we go out for breakfast almost every Saturday anyway so this would just be a small adjustment.
I will set up a group when I have time to sit down and figure out how to do that (I'm sure it's not difficult). I'm thinking that getting everyone to go buy something to identify themselves might act as an inhibitor so I'll probably just come up with a way to identify just ourselves so people know they are in the right place then let it go from there. Should we keep it just bowling so that people can expect the routine or should we try changing it up from time to time to appeal to a wider range of audiences and availability? The change up would allow bowling one day, brunch another. I think snowshoeing and laser tag would be fun activities myself but routine has advantages.

We had a few couples over for strip & naked wii bowling . This would be short of fun in a kinda leauge setting if we could find a bigg enough place to set up a few games . We would love to meet and have fun bowling and look forward to this and let us know if we can help.
Lots of good ideas for all sorts of gatherings. Trixiee had wrist bands at one point but something purchased is not the only way to do it. Communication is always the key. All identification would take is something as simple as string around the wrist or ribbon to be recognized as part of a group. Since time and place would be posted or emailed along with other info it could be as simple as nail polish of a certain color on only one finger if you wish to keep it private.

It has begun. The group is called "something other than a club". I will add more details over the next few days as I figure them out.
Will definitely do the bowling thing but being December I wonder if meeting at Temple square for the lights would be fun and funny or if it would be too offensive to the Mormon swingers on here.
We through a Halloween party with vanillas and swingers we used glow stick brackets they are cheep and you can get them almost any place they worked great.

Naked bowling would be hot but setting up a venue that people can get naked in gets into stuff with a high cover charge and it's way above my pay grade for now. This month has a bunch of stuff to do for this time of year so we will probably hang on to bowling until a little later, when things slow down, even though it was the most mentioned item. We have some ideas for this week so give me a couple days to work out some questions I have about them. I will post in the group soon.

I think the bowling idea is the best after reading. Although it is too far for us. However, I thought of a name for your league. "Mind in the Gutter"---What do you think? T-shirts with a double meaning.
bowling sounds great. we went to the two naked bowling meets in morgan had a blast. i usually bowl tournaments on sundy but will gladly skip on occasion to meet with the group.would recomend bonwood usually plenty of open lanes on a sunday depending on time of day.
I love the name and will get to bowling but bowling is there every day so I'm going to go for some other events first. I will do a bowling activity eventually even if this group doesn't do well. It seems to be too popular to pass up.

If you want to be easily identifiable to other swingers (this isn't an event is open to any one) please tie a purple ribbon around your wrist. If you don't want to be bothered with that we will have our ribbons on and I will be wearing an obvious feather in my hat until the performance starts and I will put it back on after it is over.
