Just something I was thinking about and thought I would get everyones input. How much is honesty worth in the lifestyle?
BTW I\'m always truthfull reguardless of the outcome. But I\'m curious??

This is a no brainer.
If a person lies to us about any aspect of our \'arrangement\' then that person is gone. Particularly if it has to do with being married and cheating.
Initially, all we ask is that when that person is with us that they are polite, sincere, and able to focus on the time at hand. If a genuine friendship developes, we would of course expect more. We do not lie to our friends, \'vanilla\' or otherwise.

PS. - We didnt forget about you buddy. We are moving this week so we are really tied up.

liar liar put thier pants on fire! there are people at work that have to make up lies to cover up for thier lies. anyone know people like that??

Honesty is the best policy, blah blah blah.
I don\'t know how enough emphasis can be put on honesty, especially in thie lifestyle. Lack of it can hurt people in so many more ways than in other facets of one\'s life.
Not only is dishonesty rude and insulting to the people you\'re lying to, but it also (to me) is a huge sign that you\'re not really mature enough to be in the lifestyle, period. The truth will come out eventually - why cause pain and disappointment with lies if there are bound to be people out there that would be happy with the REAL you?
A quick side note - I have been accused before of being dishonest in my blog and on another board that I don\'t frequent anymore. I was hurt by the accusations and couldn\'t understand why anyone would think I have any reasons to lie on the internet - the one place I feel most comfortable revealing my true self and admitting my own failures. Later, I found that the accuser was in fact the liar and lived in a fantasy world of her own making. Go figure.
