Just curious as to what everyone thinks of Friend Requests? Do you think they are the best way to approach someone you are interested in? Do you consider them simply a good way to troll for locked photo access so you can perv people's naughty bits? Is it perhaps a lazy or easy way to express interest in someone without actually having to take the time to think about and/or write an introductory email? Is it a way of sifting through potential playmates letting their response (or lack thereof) dictate your further attempts at connecting? I know there are a lot of people who have very strong feelings about RESPONDING to Friend Requests and introductory emails. Personally we consider no response to be a polite "no thank you" but know that others get quite butt hurt when they don't get any kind of reply. So how do YOU view the Friend Request and how upset does it make you when you get no response?

We are new to this. Weve sent friend request and havent gotten but 1 acceptance (bummer, I know). We dont know if it is because they are not accepting them or what. It does hurt your feelings and leaves you not knowing what to do. We would at least like to get the polite "no thank you", not anything at all. It is very discouraging. All we are trying to do is make friends first then see where things will go from there, and we seem not to be very good at that. lol Any ideas or tips to help, please let us know.
For us we will ignore requests when we look at the person's profile and find they have no "private" pics to share back. Antoher instance we will ignore a request is if we state in our profile a specific thing we may not be looking for, and yet they are just that, so if they were to read our profile one should be able to know whether or not they would get a reply.
I always say:
Introduce yourself before sending a friend request, otherwise it will be deleted!
Also include a current photo with your introduction if your profile doesn't have one.

We prefer to chat with someone then if there is interest we send a friends request or approve theirs. We use to approve them before chatting but then so many would stop chatting with us. It is better to talk first to see if there is really an interest or not.
We guess a small intro would probably be the best thing to do first. But like swingininutah stated we are friends with people we dont know on facebook (especially if you play the games). We just want to make friends and guess we will try a different approach.
We get request from people that don't have any pictures and don't even as much as say Hi. Several I just deleted tonight. I believe those request to be from pic hunters. Our last accepted request was from a couple in Tampa who come to Jax for work. They had pictures and even had something to say in their request. These are the people we like to meet and become friends with.

Well, it depends. Sometimes we send one and are in the middle of writing the accompanying email and they already either accept or reject without any answer. I have had some who have accepted and then immediately unfriended without so much as a fuck you and that is just rude! If we are not your type, SAY SOMETHING. Be blunt, you arent going to hurt our feelings we are grown ups. Just sayin.
I only accept friends requests from people that have at least said Hi to me before, even then it may not be accepted. I'm not a picture trader. I accept friends requests from those I have met in person or those that I would like to meet in person. If people are randomly asking to be my friend it will get deleted, not only on here but also on Facebook. If you want to be my friend please have the courtesy to say Hi first.

maybe we arent so uptight as everyone else seems to be?.... we accept them to see what others look like and give them a chance to look at ours...and if they arent what we are lookin for we just delete them a few days later....yes, an email with it expresses more interest and is nice... but the main point of this is sexual attraction(to faces as well) so seeing pictures is enough to decide if we are gonna pursue someone...since we are just here for sex..not friends i find it perfect to operate this way.
Well at first we just accepted everyone because we were curious n perving. But as our learning curve slowly continued we became more picky and found that we prefer a few things. Obviously must be physically attractive to us ( pics of BOTH people, naughty n nice is good too ), it's always good if the couple is looking for a similar experience as we always play together, it helps if they like similar hobbies too so we can make more of a connection with them, we move a little slow so patience is important, no one night stands, preferably close in age, at least from the west coast ...lol...and mostly Utah, no single males unless we've met in person at a party or something. And obviously if we've met in person and clicked or even played then you're in too.
I put all my pics out there....even the one I think should really be in my private folder. I just got tired of picture collectors asking me to accept them just so they could see it.
Pretty standard stuff. Just like our profile title says, add us, we'll use each others pics to decide if theres an attraction or the possibility of an attraction for everyone involved and see where it goes. We don't really have rules as far as having to have an introductory message to avoid friend deletion or whatever. Although it does kind of bug when we go to the trouble of sending a message and people keep us on their friends list for a long period of time without ever bothering to reply. If we're not for you that's bound to happen, but it's odd that a courtesy reply for someone who wants to keep us as a friend is too much to ask.

This is ESPECIALLY true is you are not even in the same time zone. In which case you probably ought to offer some explanation as to why we ought to be friends...
AND YET, not a day goes by that we don't get two or three blind friend requests with no other note or introduction... don't people read profiles?? If someone can't be bothered to read our profile can we really believe that you are legitimately interested in knowing us? The only other assumption is that you are collecting private pics, collecting 'friends', perv'ing the swingers... NO to the friend request, NO to seeing more of us naked.

We add friends all the time! lol! Especially planning this Powell Trip! Like to have a face with a butt cheek or two! We always try to send reply's though the time frame maybe slower at times when work and LIFE get in the way!

They are over 600 miles away with NOTHING mentioned in their profile about visiting Florida.
They are 20 years younger than what our profile says we are looking for.
They are a white couple, but their profile clearly states they are looking for a black male.
Unless I forgot to change batteries in our mirror - I don't even come CLOSE to filling that bill.
(maybe it was my Florida tan that threw them)
WTF is wrong with these idiots?
