Hello all -
Need some advice. The wife and I are going out this weekend and she wants to try a little flirting with other men.
We have several scenarios in mind for the night, but are kind of lost at what downtown clubs might be the best option to get a good response.
I am curious if anyone has any experience doing this in downtown SLC clubs? We have heard Gracies is a good place to try things out? We have tried Habits before, but want to try the downtown scene this time around.
If not Gracies, possibly other clubs? We had this idea that hotel bars might be nice, due to the out of town factor of most of the people there, so it adds a level of anonymity that we like. We might be wrong in this, but any ideas are appreciated.

I've gone and done this sort of thing at Hotel/Elevate, Area51, and Habits. Occasionally attempted Greenstreet, Sandbar, and Bay, but not had as much luck there.

Where did you have the most luck? If I remember right, Hotel/Elevate is right around the corner from Gracies?
We are also curious how you go about approaching men? The wife is curious and excited, but is also anxious about how to get it started. We were wondering if we could get some advice on how to get it started. If you could post some ideas or things you have tried that work we would greatly appreciate it.
The husband will be there. We have not yet decided whether we will act together, or just be in the same place while she plays. Lots of things to still figure out, but that is half the fun for us.

Just a thought and wondering what you are thinking. We have one of the biggest parties of the year going this weekend with folks coming in from miles away and from many lifestyles all gathering to have a wild and crazy time. And instead of attending you plan to go bar hopping which could be done almost any other weekend. I really hope you have fun but it flat out does not compute for me unless you plan to do both.

Or else they don't have the money to get into the parties? i'm going to a bar/club on the weekend of the 29th simply as I can go to the club for free and i don't have $50 for the big parties. parites would be a blast and a half, they always are, barhopping is just cheaper.

hotel/elevate is on 200 S 150 W. i have no idea where gracies is, so i couldn't tell ya if its on the same block.
i usually have the bset luck if i wander away from the hubby (he says within sight, we just don't stand WITH each other. i'll hang at the dance floor or hang at the bar just surveying the crowd until i find a good target or a good one approaches me. typically things are played by ear until i decide if things are going to progress to something outside the club/bar. then i take a "bathroom break" so that the hubby and i can meet up and discuss how hings are going to progress and we go from there. if you have any specific questions, feel free to email me.
I really have enjoyed circle lounge a lot of fun. Ladies are free before 11. Love the set up and the staff are very friendly too. The dancing is to die for. Plus the hotties that come through that door omg!!! I just recently started to go there a few months ago and go with women alot and seem to get lots of action from men when we do. So try that bar but dancing is a must to get them to play with you!!!

That is so funny, we been meaning to try this for a while. There is a nice up scale latin salsa club in sugar house, Karamba, that is what we were thinking
True, we only been to Karamba twice, the chorizo fest lol really on saturday, friday;s are better.

if you don't go to the erotic ball. gracies would be your best bet. kristauf's has been dead for a while (very hit or miss for what you might be looking for looking for) Hotel will work, but can get a little rowdy on the weekends. I live downtown, so i visit these places often, so just my little bit of input. hope it helps
Thanks everyone for the great replies. Looks like lots of options to choose from. Looks like we will prolly try Gracies this weekend. If that doesn't work out well, will try The Circle Lounge and/or The Hotel.

DeviantToung, I believe in each to their own pleasures. I certainly have posted enough in this venue saying that same thing. This is what the lifestyle is about. I did not expect an answer and far be it for me to decide what anyone will or will not do with their free time.
