Why is it that if you dont find attraction for a certain race, youre suddenly a racist?
That is ridiculous. This is about sexual preference and that is incredibly personal.
Does this mean that because my husband wont play with a bisexual man that he is racist (oh do you know that gays and lesbians now consider themselves a race because they were born that way and had no choice)?
Swinging is about personal choice- you should be able to respect everyones personal choice.

I have been doing my best to stay out of these stupid arguements about race and preference, but today I am feeling froggy so I had to bite, even though this thread is outdated, and should be put out to pasture. So here goes my .02 cents on this subject. Take it how you will, it makes absolutely no difference to me how you do. I will of course remain civil in my observation.
It is apparent that the intended purpose of this thread is to incite another disagreement about race and preference. Hasnt this been done enough over the last couple of weeks? Isnt it painfully obvious that you (the person who started this thread) are only interested in airing your own opinion on this matter?
Honestly, I think that perhaps you should simply indicate your "preference" in your profile and stop sounding your trumpet to draw attention to yourself. Most of us can read and will not bother to waste your time.
This doesnt make you a racist in DEED. Each of us has the right to choose what or whom they are attracted to. Generally speaking, my wife does not prefer Latino men, unless they are related to Ricky Martin in some way or another, and we all KNOW he is queer as a $3 bill. Is she racist, of course not. But if we met a good looking latino man, and he was exceptional by HER standards, we would not exlcude him based on RACE.
Thats where we differ.
This isnt a poll. It is a soapbox. One that has been stood on by quite a few people recently. So how about we move on?
Frankly, I am glad that your preference does not include people of color. Thats one less problem for YOU, and one less problem for THEM.

Because you are not attracted to someone of a certain race does not make you racist, that is personal preference. If you've seen some of my other posts regarding this subject matter you'd see I've said that on several occasions.
The question is something to the effect of "Would you invite an African American to..." (don't know what is says after that). Excluding someone from a social event - such as a party or a club - is discriminatory and racist.
I agree with LUVBUG, this has been dragged through the mud just too much recently. This is obviously a troll and I took the bait. Some things I have a hard time sitting idly by on, and this subject is one of them.
