I was recently giveing my husband a long hug and my nose was right against his neck, I could smell the new cologne. He just started wearing Pie (symbol) and I love the way he smells with it on. It got me thinking about the importance of the way a person smells.
I had a boyfriend way back in the day who always smelled like soap and I loved it. To this day the smell of Irish spring reminds me of him.
So what smells turn you on? One that reminds you of good times or a person?

I (mr.) have always loved the smell of freshly lotioned/showered skin. Very intoxicating. I have worn Nautica cologne as long as we have been together, that's one of her favotite things when she hugs me.
I (Mr.) go absolutely batty for Orange Blossom. It's a smell that has always tantalized me, for some reason, and up until about a year ago, I had no idea what it was.
I'll tell the story here. Why not?
We were in Florida and driving on a random stretch of road, all of a sudden I smell it, that smell that has taunted me for years, always just a whiff, just a breeze, but not this time. It was full on. It was right here! I asked the Mrs. to stop the car so I could figure out where that beautiful aroma was coming from. We walked around and I was sniffing at everything I could find until we realized, we're next to an orange grove. I hopped the fence(Hehe) picked one of the pretty flowers and was instantly in heaven! The one smell I had chased my entire life was finally in my hands! I was so happy, I don't think I stopped smelling that little flower the entire way home
We immediately purchased 2 bottles of Orange blossom body spray, and I've loved how my wife has smelled ever since

Scent, it is theorized, is the strongest memory sense.
Who knows?

There are very few scents I (he) like on a woman.
If she is going to wear something, I prefer something that smells like a lightly scented talc as opposed to something heavily perfumed.
Ciarra (sp) smells good on SOME women - not others.
My all-time favorite is no longer available: TOSCA, by 4711.
My worst fear in life is to one day be stuck on an elevator with a little old woman who juat had a visit from her Avon Lady.
When someone would show up at work with a heavy perfume/cologne/after shave on, a guy I worked with would tell them "you smell like the inside of my grandmother's purse".

OH this is fun. If I ever want to get lucky with the wife I just have to wear her favorite which is Paul Sabastion. It gets her motor running every time. Sounds dumb but I still enjoy the old backup of Taboo on her. Put the two together and we smell like some weird flower shop or sex in the afternoon!
on tyler. i love Calvin Klein. mm. just delicious. i think almost any cologne attracts me but that one is the favorite. im not one for fruity smells on a woman. on occasion with the right woman smells good. i like the musky smells better tough. ralph lauren smells delicious. i also love the lotion too. twilight woods, secret wonderland. mmhmm.

Interesting subject, my wife has used many different perfumes and such over the years and the only one I truly liked was exclamation. However just walking in malls or even meeting people there have been some very nice smells and I should have asked what it was but didn't. For me though most of the woman wear some nice stuff as long as they don't use half the bottle.
I love the smell of fresh sweat on a man, not stinky old sweat but just a hint of manly sweat, that is a huge turn on for me. I also love the smell of a woman's pussy when she is turned on, the smell of sex is intoxicating, uuum yummy xxx just saying
Male here, Midnight Musk...damn that shit will drive me crazy....I think it was or is made by Jovan...oh yeah Vanilla anything is always a favorite too....
I love the smell of him when he comes home from work, yummy.. When it comes to cologne on him I really like Aspen, or Stetson or Preferred stock gets me going every time...
I wear perfume called Snuggle and he loves it he also loves smelling the girlie juices when they start flowing!

I have a terrible sense of nose so a lack of smell is the best smell to me. Perfume just smells like bathroom cleaning chemicals and if I can smell something when I'm giving face to a woman then she really needs a shower.
Nothing smells better than a clean, cologned/perfumed body...nothing overwhelming, but the right scent that blends with the right person...something that intoxicates you, and when you smell it on your clothes the next day it makes you wet all over again.
Cool Water is my favorite for a man...there are too many for a woman. Vanilla anything, Love Spell - Victoria's Secret, just skip the patchouli or musk anything.

Wow...lots of interesting thoughts. Freshly showered is good, so long as there is a little added fragrance, a light floral or clean scent (bar soap I find is too harsh!)...My man is a True Religion "Drifter" (eegads, SO hot!!) and I'm a Victoria's Secret "Bombshell" a lot of the time, although I find that I prefer to switch up fragrances to match my mood; flirty, sexy, luscious and fruity...you get the idea. Scent is SO important but I definitely have to agree-the smell of a clean wet pussy is about as sexy as it gets...
Agreed, there isn't anything more intoxicating than the scent of a woman as she becomes wet...
