Swingers Forum - Lying about your age????

line
Previous Post Next Post
We recently have joined another L site and it is more obvious than on swingular that folks subtract up to 15 years on their ages.. This probably occurs more in the over 50 crowd. Should we list 44 which is what most folks guess our ages are?
What is bad is these folks listing 48 or 50 that look 65 gives all the folks the impression that is what 50 yr old folks look like.

We have met many couples and found out the guy is 4-5 yrs older than stated????
Should this be forgiven or not?
How common is it to fudge your age by a couple years?
yes it not very nice to lie about your age as more then likely it does not turn out so well when you meet.

For a few months when we first got on I thought being under 30 was awesome as i lost a few years due to personal reason in my late 20's.

However I saw it did not matter at all. I am 33 and proud to be this age as my first husband passed away at this age too.

I also only put up recent photos. I am bigger in some of them then I am now but does not seem to matter either. People like what they like and will still like you as you! If they dont then just move on and keep meeting people and you will find your groove!!!

I totally do! Im 90 and think I look fuckin HOT for my age :) Age is a number, just like a bank account or IQ. Only matters if you let it! And Vald, we all apperciate your efforts in keeping fit and keeping this world a more beautiful place.

LIAR!!!! hehehe jk
I know you are young in your years my friend!!!

When I tell people my true age - 43, they look at me with pity and "oh, life and gravity have not been kind to you at all have they" look. However, if I lie and say I'm 53 they are like "damn, woman, you look GREAT". ;)
what about those that seem like they're lying but aren't? lol! i tell everybody that i'm 32 because that's my actual age. funny part is, because of a huge mistake by the state of california, my id says that i'm 30. lol! i usually just say 32 because i'm just tired of telling the story of how that happened. lol!
Lying someone's pants off is something we will not do. Numbers are not important to us. Our profile lists us as both 250+lbs and at one time it was true and may be true again, however our numbers are a little south of that. We have met many who have lied about their age and when it is +/- about 10 years it really doesn't make that much difference. However, when it has been about -30 years it is a HUGE problem (yes we have met folks who thought they could get away with that much difference). So a SLIGHT exaggeration does not bother us, we won't do it, but if it makes you feel more confident knock yourself out. Numbers are what you make of them, to be honest we're just looking to have fun.

On behalf of the "over 50 crowd", we resent being stereotyped. lol
We've never lied about our age, height, or weight. Never seen a reason to.
never run into anyone that's lied about their age, but I dunno if it'd be that big of a deal to us as long as they're 18+ and thus legal consenting adults. *shrugs*
We met a single male a few weeks back that claimed he was 50 and sported six pack abs in his profile pics. When he walked in he was at least 15 years older then he states on his profile and at least 30 or more pounds heavier. He was a very nice guy outside of that, and if he had been honest in the beginning maybe the outcome would have been better for him. Upon meeting, if the first thing we notice is that you have already lied to us, what else might you be lying about?
IMHO +/- 10 years is not ok. Maybe fudge it a couple years but honesty is the best thing. As for the 69 that is quite common on sites such as these and is a joke... IT would hurt your name being searched if folks do it with some age limits until you are over 69?
Ok, why the morality hogwash. If it bothers you, then it bothers you. But you have to break a lot of taboos to even be on this site or lifestyle. There are sins of commission and omission. Which means that you lye to someone if you do not tell all. How many of your neighbors know that you are a swinger? If there is one that does not, then by the rules of omission your are a liar.

Furthermore why should you or we care what someone on another site is doing? If you are attracted to someone then fine, and if not then fine also. Too an awful lot of us age simply does not matter or is far down the list. Therefore someone lying about it does not matter either. How many women never have a 40th birthday? I would be more upset over brushing one

no need to smudge...but alot of people just dont want to get old lol..they smudge weight and age haha
its all about selling urself on here.. no ones gonna put up a shitty pic of themselves right?
If everyone used their true age it would be best for all.

Ok, let
Hello all. Interesting topic. Our ages are listed correctly, although I did consider fudging a little. Id have to say that if you are meeting people, and if you are attracted to them enough to play, what difference does it make. If you meet and there isnt chemistry, then dont play. It really is that simple. Knowing someones birthday is hardly relevent to having chemistry.
That being said, our ages are correct. I really hope you all will consider being friends with us anyway.
Always go with the truth...lies have a habit of coming back to bite you in the ass..;)
With us it's not so much about them lying about thier age as it is everything else they lie about. We have so many (MARRIED) Men who all seem to have a hall pass but yet they can only play during the day. The other thing we find is how many have been on here for so long and yet after 5 yrs they have no comments about them. It's easy to be verified just show a pic together from one of your temple wedding photos. There are so many people on here who post as a couple yet they can never seem to meet or when you start to pin them down the husband says she has something right now but he has a hall pass and would love to meet us. Another good one is a single man was on here we agreed to meet him but couldn't host. It was brought out he was married and his wife was out of town. Life is hard enough why does sex have to be hard also? EXCEPT FOR A HARD COCK!

As for us we don't need to know everything about someone. But come on stop playing games and start having sex. And as for you single men pretending to be couples i hope your wives find out someday your doing your little lies and posting thier pics all over the net claiming she likes to swing. If your unhappy get out of your marriage but stop the lies....
i think its bullshit when people lie about their age and put up bad pics, meeting these people has been a waste of our time!
I am glad you posted that about pics. We look at a profile and the pics are from 2004 or high school. Could we try in the last year?

Yes, she is. Hell, you both are. But then you are one of those couples who do NOT look your age. :D

As for the topic....lying (ooops "fudging" for those liars who need justification) is just wrong. Being in this lifestyle does not give one cart blanche to lie, cheat, or behave dishonestly. Period.
Come on folks, let
[quote=SEAKINGHER]Ok Tammy. I have never met you and I like your picture and think it is very nice. And the last thing I would wish to do is disrespect you or start some sort of fight. But the above statement makes me curious as to how honest any picture is.

I have noticed that your current pictures are quite a step up in the makeup department etc. I also remember that you have personally noted the
Tammy, I fully believe you and I think you are a very open and honest person. Personally I was born in the highlands of Scotland 400 some years ago and carry a sword.

In my younger days my wife and I took care of young women that were trying to be emancipated by the courts. One turned out to be a multiple personality. I learned then that what we see is not what someone else sees. It also taught me not to judge others by my preconceptions.

My ex dyes her hair and has done so for a long time. That does not make her a liar or a bad person. However it does effect how old she appears. I would use the same filter for anyone that would do so or fudge their age for vanity or other reasons. I will always stand up for a person
Hey, it took a lot of work and a quite a few bruises to get to my gentle age of 60!. I don't hide it and I am proud to say that I made it this far. If someone doesn't want to climb in my bed "or any bed" cause of that then too bad for them. The song says that I may not be as good as I once was but I am as good now as I ??????????? Ok forgot the words damn it. Anyone know the words to that song for an old geezer like me? All I know is that I can still put a smile on the "old ladies" face, aint dead yet.

Can I get an AMEN from the choir, please?
AAAAAAAMMMMMMEEEEEN!
Oh dear god. You have got to go read FUN4MWF's profile. Its it hysterical and altho the pic is accurate, the rest...not so much. But then, it's meant to be funny.
we have come acrost a few that lie about there age and we figed if they lie about there age what else would they lie about.
I don't ever lie about our ages. We are firm believers that age is just a number. When it comes to the lifestyle, if there's chemistry, then fizz-boom-bang! To assume what life experience a person has had merely by the number of years they've been alive is just ridiculous. All it means is you've probably had more or less cake in your lifetime...

Amen brother. Absolutely smokin'
SPEXDEX wrote:

Why did you have to bring cake into this? Now I'm hungry and horny. The idea of mixing the two is intriguing though.
Well I guess it needs to be spelled out to those that don`t get it. If age is not that important to many, as evidenced by the replies here, then why lie about it? If someone is willing to lie about something that doesn`t mean that much, will they lie when asked if they have any std`s? We have plenty of fun just between ourselves, and we always know of plenty of clean friends to play with. If we find you lying about meaningless things, you will not be worth the risk to us to play, based on the word of a liar.
So interesting that so many of the posts are saying age makes no difference.

Yet, there have been numerous times when we've done NOTHING more than drop a "hello" to someone here on Swingular, either in an e-mail or in the Chat Room, only to receive a vert blunt "we prefer younger friends".
For crying out loud, it's not as if we were soliciting a blow job from their pet goldfish - it was a simple hello.
Can anyone tell me why that got such an extremely rude response?
There could always be a more positive response, or a less heavy heart when rejected. Unfortunately there are a few bad apples on both sides that have made it hard on everyone.

As far as my goldfish is concerned, it's just a rumor...it was a phase in college. ;)
