HI all, we have been planning to get the bike out as much as possible while weather permits. Wife loves to ride "bitch" and enjoy the scenery with the occasional flashing of the tits!.As we are not original "Locals" to Utah but have been here a few years now... what would be your recommendations for some nice rides out in the mountains? Places to ride? Places to ride to? Places to Chow? Places to avoid?
Thanks for your help!

The Mirror Lake ride is quite awesome. Not too long and you can stop in Evanston and load up on "Utah unavailables". Coming back from there the scenic route can take you over Monte Cristo and down past Causey Reservoir and Pine View. Following Hwy 89 south is quite spectacular too. Hit some pretty national parks and some great small towns along the way. Now is great time to ride that way too because the heat is down. Utah is a great place to ride, other than the overly unattentive drivers who just can seem to see a motorcycle. You can ride for weeks and see some super cool things. From high mountains to red rock deserts, and everything in between. I am trying to get more rides in before the weathers turns too cold, so if you would like company let me know. I will go, work permitting.
Just got back from Mirror Lake with a stop at "The Notch" on the way back for burgers..yummmy
Couldn't believe that there were still patches of snow up there and chilly ..brrrr.. thanks for the advice!
We are planning another trip tomorrow from SLC to Wherever for at least a couple of hours of riding. Any other ideas? Thanks again!

Alpine loop from AF canyon to Provo canyon. Stop a cascade springs for a beautiful stroll, then eat at the Foundry grill at Sundance ski resort for some really amazing food.
I also hear Wolf creek pass is a great ride but I haven't done it yet. Plan to soon though.

Start in Francis and take 35 east, stop in Hanna for a drink, continue on to 87 and ride south to Duchesne for lunch, then take 40 back to town. Your Beemer will love you for it, my Viffer did.
