The Mrs. and I were talking the other day and we have some timeshare points left and was trying to decide where to go. She asked if anyone has every posted or asked about timeshare use for meetings. So here goes has anyone made connections at their timeshare or resort for fun. The timeshare/resort we go to are great but local for the most part. We thought it might be great to be able to meet others in our travels even if it is just for friendship. Kinda like a timeshare club for players but not sure where to start. Any suggestions?
We don't own a timeshare ourselves, but have met other people who have been staying at timeshares in Orlando.

I have a timeshare as well and have thought about booking something for e get together. My problem is that the local ones are all booked for 1 to 2 months in advance and if I can get on a pay per night (which can be challenging as well) and they run 100 to 200 bucks a night. But if anyone would be interested in meeting up for a night or weekend let me know and I will see what I can work out.
