So to start out with, Ms Bunnee and I are going our separate ways after a wonderful, happy relationship. We're not angry or hostile, we just want different things. No issue there.
My problem arises with this profile. Bunnee isn't into swinging anymore, and though she loves the lifestyle, she has many friends who let her be voyeur to their escapades. So I've been left with custody of the VB profile and I would love to stick around, but I'm not really interested in being, not only a single male, but the guy left holding the bag. I guess my question is threefold: 1) What assumptions would you make about a guy who converted his couples profile after she left? 2) Realistically, how hard is it to be a single male in the lifestyle? Assume respect, average looks, and friendly personality. 3) What's the etiquette for the friends list? Mass email or just change the profile and see if they notice?

1. Simply the assumption that it is a single not a couple. Kudos for being honest and changing it to single. I've seen many swap it over to single as well as leave it a couple and list singledom later on in the profile. I prefer when they simply switch it to single.
2. I think it really depends on how well known you were as a couple and if you had a good reputation as a married male. That will help your reputation as a single and make it easier for you to continue playing.
3. Send a mass email letting people know that the profile is changing. I'd leave it up to them to keep or delete you from their list.

You could always change your profile name, and in your mass email state what it's changing to for your current friends and give yourself the chance at a new start. Best of luck!

Yep, sounds about right to me. You might even summarize what you say here in your profile for awhile. Your being straight-forward is a big plus.
I like your guys profile too...there were (are) actually pics of YOU! So many couples don't have pics of the male like they don't even matter. I finally just dumped all mine of my hubby as well! OK, I actually don't visit here much anymore and dumped ALL my pics!
I doubt the odds are real good for a single guy here? I'm probably one of a very few who hook up with single guys on a regular basis, but I've found the parties and this service to be more oriented toward picking up single gals or, grudgingly, other couples when it had to be that way. It's just easy enough for me to meet guys away from this environment and coax them unwittingly into my lair!

I have no advice to give on the subject. As a single female I don't feel qualified to speak on such matters. But if anyone gives the OP shit about being a single male lemme know so I can can get on my "room for everyone" soapbox. Which for the record, is Sam's Club size.
If you have made friends and they are real friends they will stay with you and see that you are welcome in the lifestyle. And to be honest, being a single male is not that bad, especially at your age. There is no reason why you can not have a place here and in the vanilla world if you wish it. Just be honest about who you are and take life as it comes at you. You already have had a step up, so just hang in there.
There are single women here that want a relationship if that is what you want and you might find each other. Not as many as else where, but you can play the odds. I think that they are in your favor if you stay in good shape and have a decent personality. You are young and I am sure that have a lot to learn about women.
