You're correct, have lots of condoms on hand and at least one person needs to be super conscious of when to change.
We have done FMF with a straight female, and it is very exciting (and exhausting for one of us!). It is helpful if the girls are cool with a bit of touching, though they don't need to do full-on girl-on-girl activities.

These are good questions Kayleigh, and things we used to wonder also. There is a risk no matter how careful you are. We all know what they are. It's not uncommon to go thru 2 or 3 condoms in a session as I switch from a playmate to my wife. I don't use condoms with my wife during a 3some, but try to clean up with a warm towel in between girls as much as possible as condoms won't block all bodily fluids around the base of my shaft, or all over my face for that matter. Know who you are playing with, and talk about it beforehand, and realize that unless you are only having sex with your mate, nothing offers you a 100% guarantee.

At the very least, every change of partner a male has should be matched with a new condom. Even if it is multiple times with only one woman a new condom should be used. As a male, if you are in a FMF with your SO and another woman, I think that you should be using condoms for both unless the women are both really Bi and eating each other. At that point the condom is only preventing pregnancy because any associated germs or STDs are already being passed by three way oral sex.
