So I was doing a search on google tonight! and I searched my Yahoo screen name on google! And a link to Swingular came up! Not sure if this is a good or bad thing. for me I don't really care but for some of you I am sure you don't want your Yahoo account on the world wide web. Try it and tell me what you guys think! Look forward to hearing some comments!!!
This has actually been discussed before in one of the Yahoo screen name posts actually. It mentions that nobody should post their screen names in the forums if they do not want them shared with everyone because the text from the forums is available to the search engines. Text is shared because it helps Swingular to be at the top of the listings which helps get new members. Nothing else about a member is shared such as their usernames, photos or anything identifiable. As for finding your Yahoo screen name on the search engines, unless someone already knows your screen name, they are not going to be searching for it.
Even so, we have recommended that you DO NOT post your Yahoo screen names because then you are opening yourself up to SPAM. Yahoo screen names should be given out on an individual basis to those that you might want to keep in contact with. It should never become freely available, even on the Swingular forums.

We found our screen names on there not too worried. But was amazed to see other sites that we have never visited before hove our profile info and pics
