As I've read through a ton of the forums since I've joined, often times there is such a negative vibe thrown around so lightly. This is a site where we try to find like-minded people to associate ourselves with, but somehow forget to realize a core concept of being people - individuality. There will always be a good and a bad argument made for any question, it is how we view it to determine whether it has an affect on our lives. Never should we believe that merely since we may feel differently, to attempt to judge or tell people they are wrong for what they perceive as truth. This spans any argument, race, religion, sexual preference, even on down to spit or swallow...
The divinity in me bows to the divinity in you - remember that we have our own to be respected, and to respect those around us.
End soap box speech

Namaste indeed

Novel concept, right?
It's really hard to be my normal sarcastic ass-handing bitchy self after reading this post. Now all I wanna do hug and kiss everyone. You are going to single handedly ruin my reputation. And now I've also got a 1970's coke commercial song running thru my head...

I wish I could use this "sarcasm" you speak of...I guess I'm just a novice that needs lessons.

awww you don't learn it....it comes naturally. Almost like my red hair.
Well luckily brutal honesty gets mistaken for sarcasm so I've at least got a chance in conversation...provided I don't hate them...

Yes, and vice/versa.
All too often, my biting sarcasm has been mistaken for brutal honesty.
The irony. A post about how negative negativity is. But for some they are just too involved in tearing someone down to appear better-than-thou to get the hint when someone changes the subject to something more positive. I think it just may be the "silent majority", those folks who are having a good experience don't have much to say. Whereas those who feel they are not getting what they want have no problem letting the world know that they're getting gypped. Some may say that is just human nature. I don't believe that. It is the nature of competition. When you are in competition you must be better than any other out there. Your needs, wants and desires are preeminent. To that end "all's fair in love and war." Tear down everyone else to make yourself appear taller. Point out that you deserve to have your way all the time, because you are you. Flip it around and cooperation makes tearing others down counter productive. Breaking the legs of your "teammate" weakens the whole and diminishes everyone's (your's included) chance of success. Focus entirely on one's own desires leaves one distracted from opportunity for improvement. Celebration of the good raises all, just as a rising tide lifts all ships. I can celebrate your success and thereby have a part in it, or I can mourn my failure and despise you for it. My choice. There enough rambling, just the whiskey and Rock Star speaking.
love the forum, make you say, HUH? lol. weather i agree or not

Love this, hilarious!
I think that most people can tell the difference between sarcasm and rudeness. I will agree that it is sometimes difficult to try and get "feelings" across in the written word though. You can't see body language, or hear inflection in the voice. The little smileys help, but if everyone approaches a subject and tries to remember the simple concept of respect, everyone would get along better.
