We are looking to get in on one of the Lake Powell Lifestyle trips this summer. We don't have a boat

!We would love a trip to Powell too as the Mrs has never been. We have a 19' open bow ski boat so we'd just need to rent a house boat. Most of my boating has been out of Wahweap but not opposed to going to Bullfrog either.
If you cross the Colorado/dirty devil river( love that name!..) like you are going to Hite marina,but continue on for about 10-12 miles there is a road you can locate on most maps that lets you drive into "blue notch" which will be on your right heading south.. Any Suv,truck has no problem and we even tow small (14 -20 ft) boats in there as well. You need to have water,gas and whatever you plan to camp with as well of course. You will be in the large Good Hope Bay area with red,white canyons etc. Its an area you can set up scattered about so elbow room is there for privacy. Naked is good! Fishing is great water is nice. Not all the traffic and its free! One of only a couple sites you can actually do this on Lake powell. .. Just an F Y I PEACE~
