Yes everyone should go reread the morning news, How could someone make such aa misstake.
It is sooo sad ....I am devastated, i went to bed thinking they were ok ...thank god ...and when i woke up i saw the news on TV...Thoughts and prayers for families and saying a prayer that the one found alive will pull threw. Amazing story of survival...Have a great ya\'ll ..

I went to bed at 10pm,hoping to hear some better news. I woke up at 2:30am. Found out one was alive, its so sad.......prayers are to the families.

People have to remember that the media is a competitive business, and fact are only secondary. Most reporters know little about what they are reporting on, or the area of concern. Many come from other parts of the country, even when reporting the local news. It is a shame that we are led to believe, or misbelieve so much in an era when imformation should be so readily availible. Accuracy is not their concern, getting something out first is.
I just heard the story about the soccor team/swinger group hotel encounter on a local tv station this morning. Obviosly they bought the story and figured it would grab intrest and therefore made a good headline story. No reporter from this area was in Orlando to ask questions or verify the story details. Very scarey when you take this scenario to more serious issues such as the war in Iraq, or the supposed fuel shortage and price at the pump. I remember a few years ago when CA experienced brown outs and electric power shortages, because of a sudden deficiency in the power grid system, and it was said that it would spread across the country. Sounded fishy to me, that this could happen over night to an industry that should have the foresight and cababilities to keep up with its market demands. It was fishy, a cover up and a means to generate more proffits for Enron who had grossly mismanaged funds and had defrauded its investors. Add censorship and indiscriminate edditing to the picture and you have a very dangersous situation.
We should all take interest in what is going on in our world, and look more closely when we here things that don\'t quite sound legitimate. It is up to us to hold the media accountable. It can and does effect our lives. It might not be a bad idea to let the media people know about how you feel about the job they are doing. Most of all, always read between the lines before you accept a story for fact.
Personally I hope the person and agency responsible for the HORRIBLE DEED concerning these miners and their families pay dearly for their inconsderate actions.

Cutoff for Newspapers is usually between 12am-1am. They were not confirmed dead until 3am, which is why your newspapers today might state something other than what we know to be true now. It was miscommunication, as we all know.
