Good sex is good sex...doesnt matter religion,maybe in utah as in mormons arent suppose to do some things i think? at least thats what i heard.. I grew up southern baptist and we have amazing sex and wont say no to almost anything..For every study saying something there is another study saying the exact opposite...Its mostly crap
Statistics and studies don't really mean shit. Its not religion that causes the problem. Its the type of people who won't think for themselves and then feel guilty about doing so every now and then that creates the problem. Just say "NO!" and then don't feel bad about it.
I have residual guilt. But I assume the only way to get over it is to keep practicing til I no longer let it affect me, right? 
Yeah, with these studies, I don't think the sample size is really large enough. I bet it depends on the religion, the way you were raised in that religion, parents, relationships you have with both your mom and your dad,etc. There's just too many factors to conclude these sorts of things.
It's like - I was watching this report on CNN about porn: http://drdrew.blogs.cnn.com/2011/05/14/how-men-and-women-view-porn/?iref=allsearch In it they had a "special researcher" who claimed that the most rented porn by men when they were alone was all about violence towards women, submission, domination, rape scenarios etc. And it pissed me off - I watch porn but the rape scenario kinds actually bug me. And as you can see, she never actually backed that study up with a fact, just kept on spouting it out there. To each their own way of looking at it.

As an atheist myself, I have the opinion that most "religions" (cults), especially the Judeo-Christian and Islamic sects, are bronze age superstitions that are giant oppressive weight on humankind. When we rid the species of its unreasonable beliefs in these ridiculous myths we will get rid of a great deal of intolerance, oppression, war, genocide, rape etc. It may not clean it all up, but it sure will greatly improve our interrelations. That much less "us and them". We don't need an invisible man in the sky to tell us that stealing and killing is counterproductive to a civilization. Sure as fuck don't want him telling me that fucking is wrong. -Peace-

I do not think that arguing which religion is right or wrong or trying to convince anyone of a belief has it's place here or anywhere.. Just a thought. As far as if enjoyment of sexual situations w religion playing a factor... I wanna agree with those that say there r many factors thT will go into play. Myself(wifey here) I grew up very religious n have the most interesting story as to y I am not religious Anymore(just ask me lol) but I will still occasionally have the weird guilt feeling when I'm with a gf etc but I get over it by simply getting her naked on the spot
