Swingers Forum - Swingers unnerve families at hotel

The hotel should have been upfront with everyone. I may swing but I would not to expose my 1- - 13 year old kids to the lifestyle.

This is always a concerne the lifestyle gets a bad wrap when the vanila public is ofended. On the other hand it was in a public place not a compleatly private resort or island getaway. Some comon sence is needed folks Now the group that put on that event wwhich We hear puts on a great party will most likly not get back in that Hotel it is a shame.
We all enjoy the fun the freadom but folks when we are in a shared space respect is always best for all.
Its not like the kids broke in to the party to see they aparently saw things in a public lobby area.
Its always a rock and a hard place.

The 15 year old boy who saw the diamond-studded thong is either lying or the world\'s biggest nerd. He was \"upset\" at seeing that! Sure, right buddy. Uh, I was a 15-yr old boy once - seeing that would have \"upset\" me too - until I found a place to beat off or my girlfriend!

While I don\'t condone the kids seeing what they saw, to say they will be scarred for life is a bit of a stretch. Undoubtedly though, in our litiginous society, they will be scarred until the cash settlement from the hotel chain is received by their parents.

Hello well we was one of the couples that was in the hotel at the crown plaza and i can honestly say these was teenage girls 11yrs old-13yrsold roaming the halls and playing on the elevator past midnight which they should have been in bed the lifestyle was assinged to the 9th floor and 10th floor so if they happen to see anything im not sure what they saw maybe cpls kissing and ladies wearing short skirts.......well it was not bad as it seem and like always the media gotta exploite everything and make it a bigger story trust me it was a very boring party not that much excitement and was only about 75 coulples not over 200 as they said!! from someone who was there and know\'s the fact!!! us.

Ummm 75 couples times 2 = 150 people and while thats not alot for a hotel party it still falls within the accurate statement of aproximately 200

I was there so this is how I saw the situatiuon;
now I am not saying that the cuprits of this incident were the swingers attending the party but come on, your hosts should have made sure that no part of your party was visible to outside guests and some better discression could have been used by SOME of the party goers. Yes there was some flashing and gyrating here and there. And while I love a good party I am also a dad and wouldnt want my kids seeing that stuff either. Do any of you realize that if even one arrest was made swingers everywhere would look bad?. On the other hand the parents should have exercised better control over the children in their charge and the hotel should have either a refused the party or not booked the soccor team (the situation there to me was like having booked a klan rally and a black panthers reunion. not a good idea).

PS according to a reporter friend of mine WKMG has procured from the hotel a copy of the security tapes of the events that went on in the ballroom and around the hotel that night with the possiblity of doing a story on the night as part of an expose (i know its allready been done to death) on swinging in central florida.

OMFG!!!:s A WKMG expose\' ? I wonder which one of them is going under cover.....or should we say under the covers ? LOL!!!!

Yeah off the subject a bit but I will address that in a moment... DAMN that is a freaking steaming hot volcanic hot Picture!!! Oh yeah umm party bad news bummer even it happened in Arkansas to a club I belonged to we moved on it was better for us. We Do not particularily care what the vanilla crowd sasy they think about it none of their business and of their concern. Can\'t tell people about their kids either mine are way young and up past midnight that night here at home having a little party of their own with the sittter finger sandwiches and all (pb and j) too cute!!!
I know too that kids are more exposed to nudity and what not in other countries and they are just fine!!!
Damn our puritanical patriarchal ways! All of it will blow over. People will move on. Maybe not enough DUI\'s that night and they needed something to make news.

Too bad for the parents. I have been to soccer tournaments with my daughters too. We kept them busy and then got them to bed at a decent hour. Most of the parents don\'t know what their daughters are doing most of the time. They are usually in the bar and letting the kids run wild.

The parents that did the complaining are the ones that can\'t control their kids. Good for them.

We were there also at the Interlude event......Let me assure you No child was able to see any adult doing anything of anykind. There was no \"glass Atrium\" there were however glass elevators.. the Party was held in an enclosed invironment with security.. However to get to your rooms you had to take the glass elevators which are in the common area`s of the Crown Plaza......by the way all of the guest for the Interlude party were booked on the ninth and tenth floors ....Now if any child was exposed to anything it was less than anything they have seen on television or any magazine they can see at a grocery store check out line! Now for the mom who was highly offended ,, Her hubby was probably wishing he was with one of those well dressed lovely women!......Damd I cant wait till Disney Has a swingers pride day like they give all the flaming Homosexuals.... So we can Lead the Parade!

We were there too. There were unsupervised kids all over the place all day. They kept coming up to the 9th floor until they were told to stop by the cop. Then they came up the stairs. And this was in the day when there was nothing to see. Where were their parents???? BTW, I noticed the lady who was \"pulling down her skirt to show her diamond thong.\" I even complimented her on it. She never pulled it down as low as her ass crack. This kid cold easily see this on the girls he attends school with -- andseen it at school! That\'s what the girls all wear now. For the most part the men wore tuxes or suits and the women mostly wore formals. Of those women who elected to dress more sexy, I saw nothing that one could not see at a beach or pool in Florida. AND--These parents had a large area away from the bar (which we had to walk through to get to the ball room -- and the ballroom had NO windows) and away from the elevators (which were glass) that they could have taken their kids to. But then they would have had to be there to supervise their kids -- which by and large the parents were not in attendance to do. Mostly the parents who were aghast remained absent and allowed their children the run of the hotel unsupervised. Needless to say (kids being kids) they go where they\'re not supposed to. They tended to camp out at the tables (in the bar) right under the elevator(so they could get the best possible view) and watched the show. Then decided, after benefitting from the entertainment), that they were offended! I\'m sorry, but you can\'t have it both ways, folks! While the hotel should have managed their booking better (as they did have ample warning and knowledge of the demographics of these two groups), this is one of the most flagrant examples of parents not adequately supervising their children that i have ever seen. Thse kids worked all day to try to see something, and then, when they did, they watched for hours. It\'s sort of like ordering a meal, eating the whole thing, and then deciding it was bad and wanting your money back.:@

The morning radio station had one of the fathers of the soccer team players live on a call this morning and he said the kids saw alot ..more by the pool ....They had to send some kids to thier rooms and the kids are like\" why are we being punished\"? LOL He also said it was terrible planning the next time they will NOT go there ...

You have that right, Fun4u, so sensational that it was used as one of the headline stories on the local news broadcast by at least one of the television stations here in St. Louis, MO, this morning. Four day old news, from a 1000 miles away, don\'t they have somthing more important to tell us?
