Question: how many here have just sex vs. passionate sex? This is the male half, and I was raised to be a pleaser, and enjoy the turning on of a woman, and the intensity of watching her feel each sensation. So am I crazy to think there is passion here?

We are always that way with others and it has caused some real jealousy problems for the other couples in the past... especially when other men see the Mr. making their wives totally let go, forget where they are and who's watching - haha.

Appreciate the comment! I'm trying to figure out how to step the passion back, but keep the intensity up.
For us (this is the Mrs.), we prefer the passion, that is the biggest turn on for us. For me to watch a woman really get him going, him get her going, and all vice versa, is what we talk about after. Those memories sometimes cause us to pull over on the way home! But, as everyone says, it is all about the comfort level for everyone involved...
I don't understand how passion could be a bad thing...I mean unless you're staring deep into their eyes the whole time and telling them you love them, why would you want to "step the passion back"??

I asked a Very attractive and bright woman I was dating, what she felt passionate about. I wasn't just talking sexual passion I meant life passion. She couldn't answer. She couldn't think of anything she felt strongly enough about to call a passion. I stopped dating her shortly after that conversation. I'm not sure I use the same definition for passion. Passion sounds more like a personal intimate word to me. I get into it forget my surroundings and give into the pleasure (and I'm also a pleaser), but I don't connect any emotion or intimacy to it. The only time I feel that is with my hubby. So I dunno if that counts or not, but I guess it goes off of what I feel passionate sex is.
