Announcing Swingular's 1st ever Motorcyle Ride. This organized event is being put together to benefit a cause selected by our members. By joining the ride, you'll pledge to donate a minimum amount to the cause. Everyone is welcome to join the ride, however, at this time, we have selected Salt Lake City, UT and Tampa, FL as our two organized locations.
This should be a fun event so everyone who has a motorcycle needs to come out and have a good time. More details about the ride will be announced in the coming days.
We are currently gathering sponsors and looking for ride organizers & volunteers in each city. If interested, please contact us.
The dates have not been set as of yet but we are looking around end of June to mid-August. If you have a preference on dates, please post your reply. Right now, June 25th is looking like a good date.
We will be selecting from the following charities. Please reply with your vote on which charity you think we should select for this year.
Each charity is a US-based 501(c)3s charity. All donations will be handled by a nationally recognized charitable fundraising organization. Swingular will not accept direct donations.

Ride sounds fun. Any of those charitys is ok with us, keep us posted.
Wonderful! We vote for the Breast cancer charity....for a lot of personal reasons..but what better charity for bikers to be interested in? You know us..LOL
Check your groups section for the motorcycle group...we are actually having our first get together and ride Sat, May 7th...Would be more than happy to help where we can. The June date works...only event I know of so far here is the Elko rally on the 17-19th I know a few of us are getting together to ride out to it...and hoping to entice more!

I'm all in for a Tampa participation run - and I choose Save The Ta Ta's.
June 25th won't work here - gonna already be at a biker rally in Pennsylvania (Thunder In The Valley) that week.
Mid-August sounds like a plan though.

Some of you know that we are very private about this part of our life and we have a question for those that are planning this very worthy cause/event. Is this event going to be promoted or get attention from the media, police or a bunch of curious on-lookers? We honestly do not mind supporting a worthy cause like this, but showing up for a ride and having the Newspaper or 10pm TV Local News there taking pictures or video of us on our bikes is not something we want to be part of. We have this vision that local news will be starting off the 10pm time slot that day with....."Local Swingers Straddle A Hog To Help Support Breast Cancer". Maybe it's just us, but we would prefer to support this cause quietly and anonymous if this is the case. We are personally very happy to be who we are in private, but we know our family, friends and jobs WILL NOT LIKE WHO WE ARE IN OUR PRIVATE LIVES. Hope someone can answer this question for us. Thank you The Nutterbutter's
VERY good point! We would not be real comfortable with this, either...however, we do support a lot of different rides sponsered by a lot of different groups we personally are not part of...so guess we could always pass off any questions in that manner..But, it would be nice if it wasn't really advertised as sposered by a swinger group. You're right, I think the media would jump on it..JUST for that reason!
Would love to hear Administrations view of this?
