Sounds like a great idea,,, I would recommend planned events that either coincide with events or don't coincide with events pending on size of groups.
In Cali soon to relocate to Florida (3 months) there are plenty of places to ride to, but not too many places where lifestyle events would be welcomed.
I have been on Many Many rides and the ones I find the funnest and most intriguing were the ones that coincide with a festival of sorts. Where the Bikers don't stay at the event Persay (due to lodging) But are far enough off the beaten path to ride to the event or cut out early and get back to the riders and the going on's of the affiliates back at the designated meet up or rendezvous. Best to find a place with a pool jacuzzi and some form of club or bar on premises--Great ice breakers. Make it available to non riders too, as some like to chase in a car and hang with bikers because we are so damn friendly!
