Find a club in your area and go... You\'re not obligated to do anything untill you feel comfortable. Actually you\'re never obligated to do anything. That way you get to meet people, maybe play a bit and start networking.... Everythig else has to do with you and what you want...

I\'m in your area and would be happy to give you some \"area-specific pointers\" if you like. I can\'t email you (single male and all that) but if you\'d like to talk thru some of the things I\'ve learned via swinging in your backyard for a few years, drop me a note.
Meanwhile, I agree that the best way to meet people (in our \"small city\" area) is to go to clubs and get-togethers. You meet a bunch of people in a short time, you can tell more from 15 seconds of conversation than you can in a week of emails - and you\'re guaranteed that you have real people who are really motivated to get out and meet. For my money, the best club in our area is Tastebuds in Orlando - right near the \"Florida\'s Mall\". I understand that all of the parties truly in our specific community - are all \"house parties\" - meaning private and \"by invitation only\" and the best way to get invited - is... to go to parties (kind of a Catch-22).
You two shouldn\'t have any trouble finding partners, but other discussions have talked about how it seems that most people on-line *do* have trouble wading thru all of the people who only want to look at the pictures or email or are using photos which don\'t fairly represent them, so don\'t get discouraged.
