I just gotta know if anyone actually READS profiles anymore?? Or do people just look at the profile picture and think "Hey, I wanna hit that" and sends the friend request?
I'm starting this thread out of total frustration. Even though it might be shallow, I have stated in our profile, that if you (both the male and female part of the couple) are old enough to be my parent I'M NOT FREAKIN INTERESTED!! It totally creeps me out.
And how many times and in how many different ways do I need to state that Friend Requests WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT AN EMAIL ALONG WITH IT!! I'm not interested in just being friends with everyone in a 100 mile radius.
And yet every day I log in and I have requests from couples older than my parents and/or other couples and NO EMAILS with them! At least find me in the chat room and talk to me for a bit...and just being in the chat at the same time doesn't count as actually having a converstation.

I always read the profiles. It allows me to understand a bit of what the couples or singles are seeking.

I feel for ya...happens all the time...that would be why I have 93 friends requests sitting in my que right now...I got tired of some of them sending them over and over and the others I left there so if they ever decide to send me an actual email I can answer it lol
I think I'm gonna start writing all kinds of weird twisted shit and then list all the diseases I have (sexually or not), rate them at a disgusting level as well as a contagious level. See if anyone bothers paying attention. hahaha

How about TOO YOUNG.... not interested in people we can't communicate with or with some common life experiences... We have our own flexible definition, but at our ages... 20 and 30 somethings are younger than our children, no thanks.
I understand the frustration about people not reading profiles. I also know that age is the easiest thing to sort though when it comes to people who contact you. When I first started age mattered to me. I have found over the short time I have been single though that while music taste may be different most basic things aren't. We all live our lives work, kids(or no kids), Family, Mortgage, friends. None of that really changes that much, and really isn't it nice to know/hang out with people who have been though it?

I read every word.
we never read them, if we like the way a couple contacts us or single then we check them out. for us we enjoy this lifestyle to have fun, to pretend, to act in a way we dont in our normal lives. So i think that for us we take the profile with a grain of salt.We dont try to figure out someone by what they put on the profile. The best ones we have met didnt have more than 10 words on it. we are grown up we will figure it out.

To be honest we don't always read the complete profile. Same with the pics don't always look at them. If something catches our eye then we will read more and if there is something that is a deal breaker we go no further. When we do read a full profile if we are interested in the people we will send an email in it we will put in parts of their profile showing that we have read it. Seldom do we hear back and some send a friend request and never anything else. Then there are the ones that say we will reply to all emails or if you send an email and a friend request we will email you back... funny thing they never do. Just our nickle ( inflation you know)

Honestly when browsing profiles if the picture catches my eye i read the profile and make sure everything is compatible. If their is no picture i usually don't bother reading it lets be honest i wanna see who im thinking about and so do you.....
As far as the request we get well sorry no email no friend easy as that......

I'm just saying, the profiles are there for a reason. Whether or not you want to fill it out or leave it blank is up to you, but isn't it just polite to read a couples (or singles) profile IF they have filled it out?? It actually might contain things that will either confirm you have things in common or show you that either YOU aren't what they are looking for or the other way around.

We don't ever read anything in the profile ... breast and cock size are our only criteria. And we will gladly accept friend requests sent without a message if whoever sent the friend request is hot. If they aren't hot then we will be offended that they had the audacity to send a friend request without a message, I mean how incredibly rude, it really hurts our feelings.

No I don't believe any one reads them ... this would be my latest posting ... As usual a couple looked at our pics and didn't read our profile. We've stated we're looking for friends and thought we'd established we weren't looking for notches in our lipstick case ... The couple in question arrived from Canada earlier in the month and would be returning end of the month ...staying two plus hours away from us ... their profile says they aren't looking for one night stands ( oh really ?? ) That only the girls will chat when contact is being made ( their profile really wanted bi women not curious or bi social just bi ) when i told them we weren't interested in one night stands and as a couple we weren't interested in woman woman talk and they would have to deal with me .. ( understand My BFF ( wife ) is looking over my shoulder ) since we've had rude couples and single males and I Do the talking ... they wrote me back and stated that I was a control freak and good luck with OUR search ... We didnt even seek them out ... Have enough friends in the lifestyle here to keep us busy for a while ... some people's kids ...

Sounds like you took my "Old enough to be my parent" statement a little too personally....I have nothing against older couples. And my reason for this thread wasn't to bash on the older couples on here...It was to vent my frustrations about how people don't read profiles. We filled out our profile so that we can find like minded people easier. We like to read profiles to find out more about the couple, what they like, what they are into, what do they like to do on the weekends, is she bi-sexual like me?? Thats a very important thing to know. Because if she isn't I KNOW that couple itsn't for us. So should all the couples that DON'T have a bi-female be all mad at me for stating what I like and don't like, what I'm ok with and what creeps me out??? Its the same thing...what each individual likes, is looking for, and what they AREN'T.
People need to stop reading between the lines of the examples I gave of how obviously people aren't reading MY profile (i.e.: couples in their 50's, not sending an email with the friend request), and see the reason for the thread.
