We're pretty new and haven't been out to any M&G's ...yet. From what we gather there's regular (if not every) saturday night M&G's at both Trails and Habits. We're just wanting to know anything that'd be helpful in deciding which would be a good fit for us and what your personal preference is and why. Does one typically attract better numbers than the other? Is there any discernible differences in the types of people that show up from the lifestyle at one vs. the other? It's a bit of a drive for us either way so we wanna try to find the best fit the first time if we can. Any and all input appreciated. Thanks in advance

Just our opinion, of course...There is a regular Swingular meet and Greet every Sat night at Trails...Our least favorite because....Always VERY loud music..too loud to talk...and because of the way it is set up..it is very hard to tell who is in the lifestyle...and who is not. There is supposed to be a seperate area...but it really hasn't worked out that way, too well. Plus..with the very beautiful ladies on stage...so many distractions..LOL Just hasn't worked for us...
Habits....Once a month on Fri...a formal meet and Greet...If you like to Dance..and mingle with the younger crowd...A good choice for that. A seperate area is available..and a little easier to meet people than Trails..Music is loud..but in the seperate area available..it is possible to carry on a conversation. Problem is tho..honestly..few sit in this area...so..again..unless you recoginize someone..it can be a bit difficult to actually meet anyone new, as they tend to be mingled in with the non-swinger types...
I believe there are a number of people here who do go to habits most every sat night ,as well..informally.
Once month on Friday nights at Club 48....Our prefered M&G...more informal..completely seperate room...not as loud..easier to actually socialize with people...Crowd is mixed..but maybe a bit older than Habits, usually.
The newest?..I believe is every Fri night at Metro...Again a younger crowd..and so far, often fewer people attending...To be honest...don't know a bunch about this one...
Being from Syracuse, I assume you know of the one in Ogden..We have always found it to be pretty good for meeting new folks, too....
Good luck! Hope to see you guys around!

Thanks for taking the time to make a detailed response. Ogden would be alot closer and if it's good for meeting people we'll have to re-think it. In our minds eye we had sort of pictured anything in SLC as being the way to go just because there's probably more people in attendance but maybe we're wrong.
Thx again
Thx again
we are the hosts of the "habits" and the "Club48" meetngreets.
we have them once a month at both clubs.
any meetngreet or party you attend is all good. you will meet different people at all the different get togethers. and see some of the same at all of them.
We sent a separate email to you about getting on list.

Wershi said it just right....they can all be a great time..we've had fun at all the ones I mentioned! Each does tend to attract just a little different crowd. Definately worth trying them all! And you'll find the one that seems to "feel" best for you.
I agree with both TIFFND and WERSHI. I prefer Habits myself. I've been to them all a few times and Habits turned out to be my favorite. Get on the KnK Evite list for sure and they'll keep you in the loop.
I prefer Club 48 just because it isn't quite as loud and especially for the secluded room the bar has us in. Very nice. Everyone has their own opinion though, try them and see what works best for you. Good luck and have some fun.
To get on the knk meetngreet emailing list.. send a real email addy to us (member Wershi) and ask to be added. We used evite.com to maintain a regular bi weekly invitation list. Looking forward to hearing from everyone that wants to join the meetngreets

We just started doing a M&G at Metro Bar on Friday nights. Last weekend was our second week and we had over 160 people throughout the night. They seem to be growing every week. The crowd is completely mixed so far. We get some of the younger crowd but they tend to hang in the main part of the bar while everyone else sticks mostly in the VIP room. The VIP room is nice because you can still enjoy the music but you can talk to each other without having to speak up. We also provide food, a private bar and both hookah and bottle service if you want it. We also do a large themed party once a month all over the valley. Some are public some are private, invite only. KandyLand 4 is this month's themed party, which is on the 30th. Via email we have already had over 150 people RSVP in the last two days and we are still weeks away. Send me an email if you would like information on either party. Would love to meet you both!

J5285H,
We went to Trails last Sat Night TIFND........I will say Bingo to you about Trails. Every detail you wrote was on the money.
We like meeting a couple at Habits early evening because the music volume is a lot lower than say after 10 pm. We like to go early, meet whomever have dinner and maybe hang till the music level gets out of control or till you cannot hear the person you are sitting beside anymore. Great place all in all though.
We honestly have better luck just meeting for a nice dinner or on a motorcycle ride to someplace nice.
Best of luck J5285H

in murray, on 4800 south. but it is not a usual lifestyle hangout.
it is just one of the locations we use for the meetngreets.
if you are on our meetngreet emailing list, you will get the information of when they are here and when they are at habits. knk
