Swingers Forum - Nude beach in Tampa/St. Pete?

Previous Post Next Post
We were wondering if there are any in the area. Heard rumor about an island only accessible by boat that is fully nude. Can anyone confirm or deny? Perhaps make a suggestion as to place to go?
Caliente and Paradise Lakes are both in the area, but they're resorts, not beaches.

There's no official nude beaches in the area, however, people have been doing the small islands in Tampa Bay for years.
And then of course there's always Playalinda Beach on the east coast.

Been there/done that.
About 30 miles north of Playalinda, there's Apollo which is on A1A in New Smyrna Beach. Just get on A1A and follow it south of New Smyrna Beach until you come to the gate at the Canaveral National Seashore. From there go to parking lot 5. At parking lot 5 walk about 200 yards south ( to your right) and you'll come to the nude portion. Be warned, go during the week and go early. Parking is very limited at parking lot 5.
Thanks for all the info!
The island is Passage Key, legally you can not set foot on the island when any of it is above water level as it is a protected sanctuary. But the waters around it are where everyone hooks up and hangs out nude.
There is supposedly a privately owned beach area on one of the lakes in Polk County that allows nudity, but I have yet to find it.

I have an idea:
Why don't we pick one Saturday or Sunday for each lake, show up, and get nude?
The weekend we DON'T get arrested - that must be it.
Passage Key isnt protected anymore as a hurricane turned it into a sandbar couple years ago.But you gotta have access to a boat to get there. It was a Fed protected bird santuary. The small islands in Tampa Bay are mostly owned by the Port Athority and are cleary marked no entry with signs all around them. But there are a couple you can have access to like the Beercan's and Fantasy. Just on the weekends they are packed like sardines in a can.
ps: Passage Key is still listed as a protected National Wildlife Refuge one of the first since 1905) but since the storms awhile back turned it to a sandbar the Athorities dont enforce.

I'd really rather not deal with Grady, besides they would probably find some way to turn it in to a 1st degree felony child molestation and attempted murder. Hell, he might throw in animal cruelty if we had to drive by someone's house that had pets to get there.
