Hey out there, any of you interested in setting up dates and times where we can have chats?...for "example", every Tuesday night at or around 7 or 8pm, we in the SLC area can try to chat and greet others...if interested, please reply back to this forum...I figure that we can use it to educate those of us who have questions about the lifestyle...this can be done in any city/country...could be more than once a week, could be every night...I don't care but, I think it would help some of us (who are new and ignorant of the lifestyle) out and make us feel more comfortable with things...not so?
there are already tons of meet and greets that happen just about every week... plenty of people there that would be more then willing to answer questions and such... Our meet and greet is this saturday in Ogden with a pajama party theme (pajamas need not be worn to attend)...
Just look at the front page and under the forum posts there is a listing of all the meet and greets with times and dates...

wow, ousted in record time, lol...ok, nevermind...I see where this is going...my point was to try and get more people to use Swingular's chat forum every so ofter since, we do have that feature and I hardly see many of us using it...I think that some of us who are new to this have questions and would feel a bit more comfortable chatting before meeting...just my opinion though...also, I know about the meet and greets every week...we went to one at Trails not too long ago and it wasn't at all what we thought it to be...didn't know who to talk to, didn't know where to sit and the girl at the door wasn't even sure if anyone had come...but, ok, this is dead now and thanks for a quick response...
First of Chocol8ee, the chat room is usually packed every night. Seriously. Last night there were over 40 people in there.
Second, I haven't been to the one at Trails so I can't comment on your experience but I will say the ones at Northern Exposure, Habits, and Club 48 are pretty busy and packed with swingular members. Usually the hosts of said event will come find you, introduce themselves and introduce you to a few people and get the ball rolling.
Since you are more comfortable chatting online, then just jump into the chat room and introduce yourselves. You don't need a set time or an invite.

ok, thanks...we have been to the chat a few times but, have not seen more than 10 members at one time...we will try at different times then, again, thank you 
We have been to Habits on Saturday nights (every Sat for about 2 months) but, I was informed today that the meet and greets take place on Fridays...we will probably do Club 90 (upstairs) this Saturday night...

Despite the immediate "schooling" on how to attend a meet-n-greet I think your idea is fantastic. Sadly, good ideas around here or questions for new friends, people on here that want to use their nice words, or logic, quickly becomes a contest as to who can shoot down an idea or question as quick as possible. Sorry you didn't get the response you had hoped for, people are pretty hesitant to post anything on the forum whether it be their own question/want/need/idea or a response to one, its unfortunate, but its kind of obvious why.
So - as I said - I think it is a fantastic idea and I think you should go for it! And even when there is the 40 people in the chat room, we all know some are not interested in actually chatting, so getting people on to actually talk and get to know each other, and then after you have done that, we can all perv some cams, sounds pretty fantastic to me!

Wow!...and I thought my thread would be dead, lol...thanks for all of the positive responses...I would like to set up times that we can all get online and meet so, when the Meet and Greets occur, we will have an idea of who's who beforehand (seems like it may make things a bit more comfortable for those of us who are newbies)...I think if this works, we may have larger turnouts at the greets, not so?...I propose Tuesday nights at 8pm but, I am open for that...me and my counterpart can be online every night after 7:30pm...well, that is until my schedule changes next month, lol...as of now, I work Sunday through Tuesday (and every other Wednesday) from 630am till 630pm (I know, SWEET schedule!)
